We stayed at this beautiful B&B during our honeymoon trip down Highway One. We wanted to stay inland and found this place by chance on the internet [------------]It is situated on a Vineyard and the accomodation was formerly a one bedroomed house, which the owners converted to two suites. (can be booked as one suite). The accomodation is of such a high standard and is practicaly brand new. We were so pleased when we arrived and both agreed that the pictures we saw do not show how beautiful it really is.
The location is excellent for Kings Canyon and is not too far to drive inland in a day from San Fransisco, which is what we did.
This accomodation was advertised as a B&B, which is a bt of an underestimation, as it was a suite that we had. It has a kitchen area, sitting area and an exceptionally large bathroom with a whirlpool large bath, shower, sitting chair, sterio and the obvious bathroom facilities!
The owners were very friendly and gave us a tour around the vineyard and allowed us to taste some of the wine they make there. (which is highy recomended!) One of these wine's had just been bottled on that day!
This was a beauatiful place to stop for our honeymoon and is worlds away from busy San Fransisco! The country location and porch sitting area gave us a beautiful view of the sun setting over the peach tree's over the road. Behind the Suite was an outstanding view of the mountains and rows of vines and fruit tree's surrounding the area.
Breakfast was served in the owners property next door and was made with fresh locally grown fruit, a great start to the day!
I would highly recomend this property for couples who wish for a romantic break away from the cities of Califirnia.
