“If you like living in a dump, this is a palace!”

This place is a dump. Even if they razed the place, the location is undesirable. If you are travelling in this area, take the extra time and go somewhere else. I saw the ratings on this place and can only surmise that the owners have visited this site repeatedly in order to give it an inflated rating. Read the review from the folks from Colorado. The Motel is currently going through a renovation and it is being done on the cheap. Plumbing is terrible and the staff is unfriendly. They act as though they're doing you a favor by letting you breath their air! The bullet holes are gone, but the room smelled and felt unsafe. I felt as if I should sleep with one eye open.

“Bullet holes in windows, disconnected smoke detector? yikes!”

Bullet holes in windows, disconnected smoke detector? Yikes! Also, a street away from the train, and the air conditioner (on a 100+ day) didn't work very well. The shower didn't drain, the front windows had no lock. The only thing that was just "ok" was the bed.
