We stay here a lot and really love having the restaurant on site. This 4 night trip left us wanting more - more from the weather but the motel was also lagging by it's own standards.
The shower/tub had a lot of mildew and their solution 36 hours later was putting caulk over it to hide it. IF you are going to hide it, then at least cover it up completely from view.
I had called about the restaurant after making our reservations months in advance and was told it was open. I should have followed up as the restaurant and bar were closed. First clerk said it was closed for the season and the day clerk said it was only closed for some remodeling and had been for a month or so. Anyways, we didn't get to enjoy the convenience of the place or the very good food they have. We definitely missed it.
Next was the toilet that kept running at night, fortunately I have plumbing experience and that was solved.
On the plus side they now have WiFi. Wish I would have been able to use it. Bought enough cards for our stay and couldn't get signed on. After a few hours on the phone with tech support, I was no closer to getting hooked up than before. Mind you ,I could see the other WiFi networks of all the other motels on the strip. I ended up going across the highway and purchased access to their network. the lady was great about it and gave us the guest rate.
TO close, the past enjoyment we experienced in the past was not lived up to this time around. We will give it another try on our next trip, but other places will definitely get our future consideration.
