I was very pleased with my stay here at Sierra Suites. My husband, one year old son and myself stayed in a king studio, which was a bit cramped, but it was one night so it was fine.
Highlights: the hotel is very well maintained. The lobby is very comfortable and inviting. When we were there, there was a fire in their fire place by check in. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Only took a minute or two to check in, which really surprised me. Breakfast was included in our rate. They have a breakfast buffet with scrambled eggs, sausage, bagels, fruit, cereal, etc. The room was very nice. Tiny kitchen, but adequate. I cooked my son's meals in there and didn't have to ask the reception staff for anything. The room has a small sofa and a tv on a swivel stand so you can watch it in your living room or on the bed. Have lots of tv/cable channels and you can rent movies at the front desk for a cost. The room comes with a shallow tub/shower, which was excellent for bathing my son. The room was very clean and looked up to date. They have a small gym, business center (don;t charge for printing) and a heated outdoor pool/jacuzzi, which we didn't use. About a five minute walk from the hotel, there is a large shopping center with taco bell, other fast food, thai restaurant, tcby, chinese food outlet and a large supermarket. Also, across the street is a spa. Also, in the lobby they sell drinks, microwavable food and some other things.
Cons: the smoke alarm is very sensitive if you cook. We didn't burn anything, but it was very sensitive and in a minute one of the reception staff came by to check things out. One cannot open the windows (or i couldn't) to get rid of the small amount of smoke.
