“A nice, quiet hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 22, 2013

The rooms are large and quiet. The shower is good, and the sink is separate. It would have been nice to have two sinks, especially for my daughter and granddaughters' room when they were all trying to get ready for work/school. The price is right: $98/night, and the breakfast buffet is well stocked: cold cereals and fruit and hot dishes. Also you can have an omelette cooked to order. The staff is friendly.

Room Tip: If you are moving and have lots of luggage, ask for a room near a door and downstairs.

The Hyatt house in San Ramon fit every expectation we had for our stay in this suburban area of San Francisco. The room was designed to accommodate corporate travelers who remain in the area for days/weeks at a time, so the conveniences were top-notch although the room was somewhat small in design layout. The breakfast was standard fruit, pastry and cereal offerings, but satisfying. Location was outstanding - quiet, easily accessible by car, near adequate restaurants and centrally located for our touring the valley sights and cities. Very reasonable rates and Hyatt quality deserve your consideration for using this facility for your stay in this area.

Room Tip: We chose a room on the back side of the hotel as the freeway was on the front side. We had no probl...

Loved our stay at this hotel. Clean, comfortable. Good Internet speed. Complimentary breakfast. Highly recommend using this hotel. Conveniently located next to I680.

We used the hotel for a family reunion and everyone had a good time. Pool was nice. Each room had a clean kitchen with pots and pans. The In and Out burger across the street was a hit for out of town family members!

The 2 negative reviews must be from spoiled, high society types. But for the rest of us, this hotel is very nice. We will consider this brand in the future.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 16, 2013

My family stayed here for 4 days for graduation. We had 5 rooms, some of which were the smaller suites and some the larger suites with a separate bedroom, including one with handicap access. The rooms were spacious and clean with nice bathrooms, 2 large tv's, and adequate kitchens. If you have more than 2 people in a room and plan to use the fold-out sofa, I would recommend getting the larger suite with a separate bedroom that you can close off with a door. In the smaller "suite" it is very cramped with the pull-out sofa folded out.

The sofa was very easy to use...the sheets were already on. However, the only blanket available in the room was a small, thin blanket. It would have been nice to have a more substantial comforter for the sofa bed. The king-size bed was very comfortable.

The kitchen was adequate. We didn't cook, mainly used the refrigerator. One minor complaint was that the freezer did not have ice when we arrived and there is no ice machine in the hotel, so we had to wait for the ice maker to make ice in the room.

The pool was nice and the outdoor tables were great for eating breakfast and hanging out. One huge advantage to this hotel is the food provided. They provide a hot breakfast every day which includes an omelet station and hot items, in addition to cereal, juices, fruit, and breads. They also have an evening "social hour" Monday-Thursday. This is a great value! On Thursday night they served pizza, salad, cheese, crackers, cold cuts, and beer and wine. This is not offered Friday-Sunday.

Parking was adequate and convenient. The staff was very helpful. The only major complaint we had was that the hotel has only one elevator for the whole building: 4 floors with at leads 30 rooms on each floor. This elevator is also shared by the housekeeping staff, so there is a lot of competition for the elevator. The stairs are far away from most rooms on the far end of a single hallway.

Overall the hotel is great and a great value.

Room Tip: If you plan to use the fold-out sofa, get the larger suite. If you use the fold-out sofa in the sma...

I spent 2 weeks in the Hyatt on business, it has everything you really need. It is located near the exit to the freeway and is close to many amenities. There is a nice pool, and also a gym, which although not fully kitted out is enough to keep the american food from having too much affect :-)
A nice touch is the happy hour which is on from 5:30pm to 7pm it provides free buffet food and booze 4 nights a week. This does the job if you are just back from work and don't want to cook or be sociable :-)
The whole experience really takes some of the stress of being away from home for an extended period.

We totally enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt. Everything is first rate; Large comfortable rooms, nice kitchen area, dressing area, free breakfast, and fitness room. We couldn't have been more pleased, and plan to stay here in the future when in the area.
