This motel is on the edge of an industrial neighborhood and is sited directly off the freeway. There were guys hanging out on the curb just outside of our room and I worried about theft and personal safety. But the room itself was surprisingly comfortable and clean, and the noise outside never bothered us inside and we didn't experience any trouble. I will say that parking was a problem one evening; the lot was entirely full. And also, don't even consider eating the "continental" breakfast provided. Inedible. There is a Burger King drive thru just down the street. I would definitely stay there again. Good value for the price.

Room Tip: We asked for a room far from the highway. Got one half way back. It was fine. You could say the loca...

We stayed two nights this last weekend. Our stay was very nice and we already have reservations for next weekend. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet with no noise from the street. TV was above average size for a hotel and the room was clean and roomy. The location is perfect for attending concerts at Terrapin Crossroads.

Room Tip: Ask for in the back away from the street.

I stayed here while my apartment was being readied. I had tried some of the other nearby hotels and was very pleasantly surprised by North Bay Inn. This place was by far the most comfortable of any in the area. Staff was excellent as was housekeeping.

I stayed on the 2nd floor in a large room and the King bed was the best I've slept on in months. My room looked like it was new, extremely clean, great bathroom nice TV & WiFi worked well. No funky hotel smells! The A/C & ventilation work very well and allowed for quiet & constant fan circulation. Good coffee machine in the lobby. Very nice & helpful staff. This hotel is on the service drive along the freeway as are the others in this area. Noise wasn't an issue. This was by far the best room for the price of my recent stays. I will stay here again.

Room Tip: I preferred staying on the 2nd floor as it was quieter and away from the cars.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the price was good. However, it was very noisy in the early morning, due to being right next to the highway. Unless you are a really sound sleeper, the noise will wake you up at about 6:00 a.m.

Also, the parking lot is overcrowded at night, and there does not seem to be much close, safe, on-street parking.

Reservations were confirmed months in advance. We got there and the room we reserved was not available. Were told all we have is this smaller room -take it or leave it, and no there will not be a refund in the price difference for the rooms. The 'manager' continued to be rude and of no help, telling us that we were being difficult. The room was filthly- hole in the wall - paint pealing, dirty bedspread. We just could not stay in this room- the manager (would not give her name), insisted we were being difficult and all she could do was cancel the reservation. SHE would cancel us --- the best thing that happened at this place. We found a room in another hotel (Marin Suites) and could not be more happy there.

Room Tip: Stay anywhere else.

Don't expect a 5 stars hotel, but I was very happy about this nice small hotel...

The room was very small but very comfortable... Very good double bed, flat screen TV, green Eco products for the body, good ac control system, fridge and all... Very clean and nice bathroom...

Very courteous customer service... Very limited parking spaces and I don't think they offer much for breakfast...

Nice place to stay one night while traveling or romantic gateway ;-)

I was worried about booking this motel after reading the reviews. Especially the statements about not honoring reservations. However, the price was right...

We arrived early (about 3:00 PM) because of review statements that had been made and we were already in the area visiting relatives.. I figured the earlier the better. We didn't have any problems, and got a very nice king room.

The room was fairly clean (a few crumbs in hard to reach areas with the vacuum), however the top sheet on our bed had stains that we were unsure of. I checked the sheets with a portable black light and didn't find anything we had to worry about. The bedspread was a bit thread-bare, and should have been replaced at least a year ago.

Dish TV service was a plus! Although this motel is located right next to the freeway, once the door was closed and the A/C unit was turned on we didn't hear any traffic noise. The bathroom was nicely done in what appeared to be granite or marble tile.

We would absolutely stay here again....
