DO NOT STAY HERE!!! First, the owner and operator of the hotel charged me $120 for a room, then i found out later that the going rate is $60. The rooms were absolutely horrible. The heat cuts off like every 3 minutes, and stays off for 5 minutes, leaving you freezing on the cold nights. Sheets worn, torn. Carpet was filthy and overall room unclean. The so called breakfast in the morning is a pitcher of milk, unknown what percent or age of it, and some prepackaged danishes that came from the corner store. They should be embarrassed to even operate an establishment in such manner.

I recently stayed here for a night and I was so dissatisfied with my stay. It all started with check-in where I was told that I should have called and made my reservation directly with them and since I booked through a website, she needs to put me in a “discount room.” It sure did feel like a discount room when we walked in and noticed, not only was the room dusty, but there was a strong smell of industrial cleaner and the furniture looked worn and damaged and the television set was small and outdated compared to a room that I was able to peek in to.

I was extremely disappointed with the room, and my stay was uncomfortable. We could barely sleep or enjoy the bed because my fiancé and I were itching uncontrollably from the sheets. We couldn’t even get comfortable due to the flat pillows; you would need 3 of those to equal a standard pillow. To add to the discomfort from trying to sleep, we also faced inadequate shower pressure to rinse soap or shampoo and luckily we brought our own because there was only a soap bar and conditioner provided with the room. It was also quite disgusting to open the fridge and find leftover food/contents from a previous stay.

The worst part of the weekend was when we were treated with disrespect by the person working the front office on Saturday night. It was pouring down rain outside and we decided to stay in, we were watching t.v. and enjoying a game of cards, having a fun time when we were rudely called and treated like we were some unruly children. It was barely 12:30 am, and I was trying to explain that this was the first we heard of any complaint and that we would lower our voices. However, the person on the phone went on to make me feel even worse by saying “this isn’t that type of hotel” as if we were having a raging party or if we were filming a porno. That upset me so much because we were having an innocent time, and trying to overlook the conditions the room was in when we checked in. At that point, we just wanted to go to sleep and end the night so we could get the heck out there! I don't even want to mention our wake up call was to the sounds of the people above us having sex…but we’re the loud ones?

After this experience, I can say I will never stay at the Stone Villa Inn again. We are avid travelers, and this has been the worst place we have ever stayed at.

If you have to stay at this hotel, I recommend sleeping in your car!

Stayed the weekend there a few weeks ago with two friends. Not a single one of us had anything to complain about. The room was very clean and there wasn't anything obviously wrong with the room. And, the room actually looked almost identical to pictures posted on their website.

It's no 4 or 5 star hotel but it was rather nice for the price. There was a microwave and a refrigerator in our room, which is really nice since most 4 or 5-star places charge you extra for the use of them. No coffee maker though.They also had free wifi, breakfast, and parking.

Some people have said the bed was too hard, but I think they're the ones who prefer softer beds to begin with... None of us had trouble sleeping, except for one or two of us staying up late and keeping the others awake. =]

I have very sensitive skin, so sometimes I'll itch when I sleep in hotel rooms, even through long-sleeved PJ's and pants. (Usually happens when sheets aren't clean enough or if a cheap detergent/fabric softener is used.) So, it was a nice change not to have to deal with that.

The breakfast wasn't great. But, it was free. Simple fare like cereal, milk, coffee, orange juice, bagels, and that sort of thing. Internet was shared through the whole inn, so it wasn't good for anything other than checking messages and chatting type things.

The couple who ran the place were really nice and very helpful. Honestly, the place for the price was worth it in my opinion.

I had a good experience here. The king bed room was clean and well maintained. I had booked the room on line with booking .com so when I called directly to confirm 10 minutes later they had not received a FAX yet. When I arrived 30 minutes later all was in order. Breakfast was the usual mix of continental choices. Enough to get you going but nothing special. The location was the usual motel strip along a busy road but not a noise issue unless you booked a room over the office that is up front along the roadway. A good place for an overnight or two stay if you are visiting family or such.
