“Feels like home”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 11, 2013

If you have been to Jaffa or Soho (UK), you will feel right at home at this place. Adnan is a gracious host and a reason by himself to visit. Adam is the surly chef, but he will give you a smile if you are a regular. The food is perfect as is the wild ambiance. It get's very busy around lunch time. I recommend calling in your order and taking it to Cuesta Park. And people - tip the cooks please.

“Excellent Greek Food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2012

Jaffa Cafe is the original Greek food restaurant in San Luis Obispo. They cannot be beat, they have all the traditional Greek favorites. The inside of the restaurant is also like a Greek grocery store, offering a lot of imported food items.

Jaffa Cafe is located right next to Petra, which is another Greek food restaurant that is literally right next door. While there is a lot of debate over which one is better, I'd point you towards Jaffa.

“Simply Great”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 26, 2012

Stopped in on the way home to SoCal based on the good reviews. Tried the gyro and lentil soup daily special and it was terrific. The reviews were right on...one of the best gyros I've had in a long time. Pita was fresh and soft and the gyro was loaded with meat. The soup was excellent as well. Be aware that they are moving soon to Monterey Ave about a block from their current location.

“Good Mediterranean Food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2012

This is a small mom & pop place; the ambience is not much, although the mural scene of bellydancers on the wall lends color. While you're waiting for your food you can shop a small market of ethnic Mediterranean food. The various dishes we have tried are all delicious, and the portions are good. We go whenever we're in the neighborhood.
