There is nothing bad to say about this hotel. Clean, large rooms, free parking, free welcome drink (served in the little breakfast room), breakfast included.
We had seen breakfast in another Best Western, so decided to skip it and eat on the road somewhere. We didn't pick this hotel, it was part of a road trip we were doing.
It was super easy to find, and the staff was very helpful. But is was quite the way away from anything. There was an IHOP restaurant attached to it, but we wanted to see the town.
A helpful guy on the front desk explained the easiest buses and taxi numbers. He also told us how to get to the bike/walking path that led into town and said it was a bout a half hour walk. We decided to try the walk. He was right, took about half an hour to get into town but it was a nice walk. We went past the famous Madonna Inn and along a path that ran along side fields and eventually into town. We needed the walk after a long day driving, and even more so after the delicious meal we found. San Louis Obispo town is beautiful and well worth the visit. Great places to eat and drink and some independent shops and boutiques.
Its just a shame that the hotel was not a little nearer the action. The hotel has a large pool and a small, but well equipped gym. Our room had a veranda, and it looked to be that all the rooms would have had the same facilities- coffee maker/fridge, ice machine on each walkway.
Again, this hotel is perfectly acceptable. Just don't expect to be near the action : )
