“Basic, inexpensive, good location”

Can't beat the price for this basic, little motel within minutes of the downtown area. Management very friendly and accommodating. No-frills kind of place, but adequate. Simple but ample breakfast in motel lobby. Very quiet location.

“Your motel was a oasis.”

My husband had been walking the California Mission Trail -- just completing over 400 miles when he collapsed from heat exhaustion. I drove up from Ventura to meet him and we stayed there. Everyone was so hospitable, even giving us a little discount on the room. Room was average but very clean and in a great location -- means a lot for a walker. Thank you.

P.S. After a good night's rest, he continued his walk the next day. In 3-weeks after 800 mile walk and visiting 20 missions, he'll arrive at his final destination -- mission 21 -- in San Diego.

Great location, close to restaurants and shops. Easy access to freeway and room was quiet. Had a great nights sleep minus the small earthquake.
