This is a not to be missed staple of San Luis Obispo! They have a fantastic breakfast sandwich menu as well as amazing pastries & coffee! Then come back for lunch..the clam chowder is amazing! Quick service & great staff!

Not as crowded as the Pismo Beach location and a more charming venue. Good clam chowder but very expensive for a very small amount. Looking around, seemed that the clam chowder bread bowls were on just about every table. Order at the counter, find a table and wait for your name to be called. Nice outdoor seating.

This place is great, the food is absolutely delicious and the portions are generous. The food is really reasonably priced and the service was quick so there wasn't a long wait! I had the chicken strip and chips and my husband had the chowder bowl, we were so full up!

If I hadn't been in for dinner I would definitely have had a cake, they looked DELICIOUS!

This is an offshoot of the Splach cafe in Pismo Beach. The Pismo location had a line out the door and around the block at lunch time. We happened into this second location and were pleasantly surprised to be able to walk right in. The clam chowder was very tasty and if you get it in a bread bowl, they toast the chunk of bread that the inside of the bowl and serve it on the side - I thought that was pretty cool. My son had clams and chips and my daughter had fish and chips. Both were typical fried foods, but the fish was very fresh, moist and delicious. They also have a large display of desserts that look amazing. I will return again next time I am in the area.
