“Love the food and the patio!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2014

My daughter, her friends, and I ate here on our visit to Cal Poly! Love the small college town feel of SLO, but this is a great addition to the town! Menu is burgers, BBQ, salads and all the food is very amply portioned and all was delicious. I had the pork rib dinner. The ribs were tender with a delicious BBQ sauce (wish they had a variety of sauces, but the one was great). I had beans (awesome) and garlic toast (super buttery but needed more garlic). My daughter had the pulled pork (large sandwich roll sized) and her friends the tri-tip sandwich with one of the salads (again big size and full of lots of yummy stuff). All were very happy. I also got a basket of onion rings -- huge and great crunch and flavor! They have a bar with lots of great beer selections and lots of tvs. We sat on the patio which is very big with a great view of Higuera Street. Super great food and fun spot. Definitely try!

“Big portions!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 17, 2014

A Cal Poly relative recommended this restaurant and it didn't disappoint! The tri tip steak sandwich was stuffed with plenty of meat and my rib platter came with plenty of ribs, plenty of garlic bread and plenty of spicy beans. The atmosphere is young and sports bar-ish. We were a bit early for dinner so we easily got seats and the food came fast but it definitely filled up quick. We heard that it's common for lines to go out the door. Prices are good, very affordable.

“Great family pit stop and to watch the crowd in SLO”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2014

The food is very good (we had fries, onion rings and tri-tip sandwich) and there is a screen on every wall to watch any and all sports.

“Graduation Weekend”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 3, 2014

We had late dinner here on our last night in SLO. It was a fun place and heart warming to see all the kids saying goodbye for the summer, obviously the go to place. The tri-tip salad was huge and very good. I was sad to leave the leftovers behind.

“Good casual bbq”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 2, 2014

We had the bbq pork/pig sandwich and it was very good.
Excellent fries and reasonable price for very casual SLO burger and bbq spot.
It was noisy but that is exactly what you would expect in an informal local when they are super busy at lunch time.
