“Good Eats”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2013

This restaurant is known for its barbecue tri-tip but it also has lots of other tasty options on the menu, like chicken burgers, fish tacos, buffalo wings, veggie options, salads, etc. We had an ABC Burger and a Grilled Chicken Burger with a basket of half & half (seasoned fries and HUGE onion rings.) Relaxed atmosphere where you order at a counter and then sit inside to watch the game or go out on the patio. Big portions and very tasty fare!

“World's Best Tri Tip Sandwich”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 20, 2013

Hands' down the world's best tri tip sandwich and you can eat outside on a balmy day. The tri tip is juicy, charred on the outside, tender, seasoned lightly and cooked to perfection - medium rare, and there's lots of it on the standard sandwich. It's served on a French roll that's been toasted on the grill so holds up to the juice from the meat. Fries come with bbq salt, onion rings made fresh - one side order of both is plenty to share between 2-4 people depending on how hungry you are. There are larger sizes of both. If you like, you can get extra bbq sauce from the grill. Noticed other diners chowing down on salads, sandwiches of all sorts. Order at the counter and find a table until they call your number. You can eat inside or out at tables that are continuously cleaned. Bathrooms are clean too - you'll need to wash your hands after your meal.

“Tri-Trip sandwich, not a fan”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 16, 2013

I'm sad to admit, I am not a huge fan on the tri-tip sandwich. The meat was tough and really fatty. The sandwich was dry - definitely needed more BBQ sauce. My husband loved his ABC burger (avocado, bacon, cheese). The fries were good - lightly seasoned and crispy.

The line is usually long but it goes pretty quickly. Everyone was friendly. Plenty of seating and table the turn-over is fast. I'll probably come back and try the veggie avocado sandwich because that sounds delicious.

“Best BBQ in town”

Don't miss this place. The wait is sometime a little long but worth it. Great food and great prices.

“Best tri tip and salads- super busy”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 13, 2013 via mobile

My husband would probably order 2 tri tip sandwiches if it was 'allowed'. The meat is tender and sauce is sweet. Just right. The Firestone salad with chicken is perfect and big enough for a meal- just add the ranch and BBQ sauce and it's almost as good as a tri tip sandwich. It's a bit noisy so we opted to sit outside. During prime lunch and dinner hours during the school year it gets too crowded for us. Highly recommended!
