“Great brunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 19, 2014

Best restaurant we've eaten at in SLO area. Brunch on a Saturday was wonderful. My husband and the Gumbo yaya and he said it was spiced perfectly and excellent. I had the eggplant lasagna and the marinara sauce was perfect, the eggplant delicious and the cheese abundant. Would definitely visit again if in the area. We sat at the counter as the restaurant was packed. The folks next to us both ordered breakfast dishes that looked amazing.

“Great food and fun wait staff!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 11, 2014

Lots of fresh, locally sourced veggies abound at this restaurant. Inventive flavor combinations, big cups of coffee for bleary eyed mornings and great egg dishes. Wait staff is really friendly and good humored.

“Delicious & Healthy”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 6, 2014

I love this place! We a delicious dinner of lamb shanks and roasted root vegetables. I started with the kale salad and a glass of red wine. It was delicious and healthy. Sometimes when eating out it's hard to find places and serve generous vegetable portions. Often what happens is the veggies are more like a garnish than a side. Or they are so simply prepared that it's hard to spend the money. Not at the Big Sky Cafe! I will go back here every time I'm in SLO.
