Great service, a varied and well prepared menu (including 3 savory course offerings), interesting dinner specials each day, and an excellent wine list. If you enjoy eating Italian, you will love Buona Tavola

I loved this place! The staff members were fantastic and the food superb. I had the minestrone soup. The broth was delicious and the vegetables tasted like they came right out of the garden. They have quite a selection of food from the northern regions of Italy to choose from, and if everything else is as good as the soup then you can't go wrong. For dessert I had a cappuccino and biscotti and both were great.

They have a large wine selection but since I don't drink wine I cannot comment on that in more detail.

If you go on the weekend you should make a reservation. Ask to be seated on the back patio; it is quiet, secluded, and lovely.

The patio room was a very inviting space with a high ceiling and sufficient space heaters to keep it comfortable even on a very chilly night. The service was first rate. The appetizers and the salads were the best part of the meal, especially the artisan salamis made in-house, and the olive spread. The pasta dishes could have used a little more innovation and selection.

Buona Tavola's chef comes from Northern Italy, and the menu showcases authentic Italian dishes. The penne arrabiata is excellent, the salads fresh, and the service quite good. In nice weather it's very pleasant to have your meal outside in the garden- like setting in back. Inside, the ambience is not so hot since it is a relatively small, boxy room. But go there for the fine dining experience.
