I love this place. The food is consistently amazing. The staff has always been wonderful, whether I am in the bar area or at a table. The winelist is great, my sister and I have found our favorite local wineries from wines on their list. Highly recommend any glass or bottle from Baileyana or Treana.

We tried dinner on the recommendation of a winery. Unfortunately our skirt steak entrees were subpar. Dry and drenched in a marinade or sauce served with shriveled potatoes. Not appetizing or worth the price. Appetizer salad with pears and beets was ok and my husbands clam chowder was average. The desserts were good but overall, the food did not measure up to the warm ambiance. I suppose we would have had better luck had we ordered pasta. But, we did ask the server if the steak was worth ordering and she said it was. She should have been honest.

We enjoyed a wonderful meal of salad, and pizza. It was authentic, just like we recently enjoyed in Florence, Italy! The server was attentive and charming, and the atmosphere welcoming and warm, on a drizzly evening. The owner made rounds through the restaurant sending leftover bread bread home with the diners, a nice touch! We ate there mid week, and although the restaurant was busy, it wasn't loud or crowded. Baseball fans enjoyed a play off game in the restaurant's bar area, creating a lively atmosphere. A great meal!

There is nothing not to like about Giuseppes, the food was great, lots of selection on their food and wine menu, The service was excellent. Lots of atmosphere, Indoor or outdoor seating. Great location. We love SLO, the students add so much vibrancy to the area.
Lots of terrific restaurants in the area.
