“Best Hawaiian BBQ around”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 4, 2012

Tried several different Hawaiian restaurants in the area, and none compare to this restaurant. The food is well seasoned and flavorful, and the staff is very accomodating. They want you to be happy and are very good about substituting side dishes. The other places don't usually do this.
Hawaiian Drive Inn gives large portions at a great time. My family loves getting food from there.

“Good, Quick and Tasty”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 18, 2012

I have been to this Tully Road establishment numerous times over the past several years for lunch.... at least once and sometimes as many many as 4 times in a month.
The lunch plates are consistent.... Well prepared and tasty.
The Chicken Katsu is good with the Katsu sauce to the side.
The BBQ chicken is one of my favorites. If you prefer to avoid the macaroni salad, they will substitute some broccoli or another scoop of rice.
The Mixed BBQ Plate is tasty: beef and chicken teriyaki with short ribs.
The Kalua Pork and Cabbage is very good and not as salty as some places can be.
The Ahi Poke, when they have it, is worth a try.
The one thing that I tried and did not like was the Hot Malasadas. It is NOT Leonard's or even Champion.... Sorry, but after trying an order once and I will not try it again.....
