My husband and I stayed here during our weekend visit to the area and had a very pleasant stay. At check-in I was warmly greeted and when I inquired if an upgrade was available (I'm Platinum Premier in the Marriott Rewards program) I was told that the upgrade had already been taken care of. I was also offered my choice of arrival amenity. I was shown on the map exactly where our suite was located and informed of the door closest to our room.
Our suite was the standard Courtyard suite - bedroom, with flat screen tv; living room with flat screen tv, mini-fridge, and coffee maker; and a bathroom. As usual, I would prefer a larger vanity as the size of the vanities in most Courtyard locations is too small for two people to use at the same time. Everything was in working order. There was ample free parking around the hotel, and the WiFi is complimentary. Hotel is located near the airport, but we did not hear any airplane noise.
The pool area was nice looking, but we didn't have a chance to enjoy it. There is a Courtyard Cafe that is open for breakfast and dinner, but we did not eat here. In the lobby there is a large touch-screen monitor which has maps, local restaurant information, etc. There were two computers with Internet access, as well as two additional computers from which you could print your boarding pass. The hotel has an airport shuttle, but we did not use it on this trip.
We spent one day of our trip in Monterey, and this property was conveniently located for the drive down. It was a beautiful drive, and staying here saved us quite a bit of money as compared to staying in Monterey.
Next time we're in the area I'm sure we'll stay here again.
