We were not sure where to go for dinner and were randomly allowing the GPS to let us know what was near by when we decided Cuban food fit the bill. We ordered an appetizer, a shared entree and the entree was served with soup. Oh, goodness, we would have halved everything if we had any idea how much food this entailed, no matter how good it was because we couldn't bring any leftovers home since we were away for the weekend.
We had the Mariquitas (fried plantain chips) and Yucca Frita (fried yucca) with garlic sauce...very good!! Crisp and fresh, much better than I thought it would be.
The soup was very rustic and reminded me of soups from home in Greece, but with a strong corn flavor to it. Be careful it is a huge bowl not cup!!
We shared the Surtido, or combo plate and the pork and beef was amazing, the chicken was average and a bit of a disappointment. The beans were great all on their own.
This place is well worth the trip and I will be going back!
