This is not your traditional ramen joint. It is located inside a Japanese market, but I think it added to the overall experience.
The long is indeed long, but after we placed our order, we took advantage of the 25 minute wait for our food and shopped in the market. We picked up necessities in the market as well as some treats from the mochi counter.
After our shopping, we made our way back to the ramen seating area and waited for our number to be called. The ramen was delicious! I ordered the soybean flavor while my husband ordered the spicy pork flavor. Both were very good. The broth for both had such amazing depth. You could tell that it took many hours to create that brother. The toppings were simple, but you had the option to order additional items. I ordered the soy sauce egg while my husband ordered bamboo shoots.
The other positive for this place is that it stays open all day unlike other ramen parlors that open for lunch, close and then open again for dinner.
All in all, a lovely experience. I would definitely recommend.
