We've eaten at all of the restaurants in Santana Row so this was a nice change. It was also warm this day so it was nice to totally get out of the heat (all the seating is inside). We looked at the menu online the night before so all of us had an idea of what we were going to order and we are glad we did. The beer menu is so extensive we would have still been there at dinner if we had to decide what to eat and drink! I liked how most of the beers were available in three sizes and the alcohol count is posted if you are interested.
We were the second table to be seated just after they opened, so it was pretty quiet to start off, but I can see once it is full of people the noise level may be uncomfortable. We had the grilled chese and tomato bisque, 2 half sandwiches (generous halves) with soup (french onion and tomato) turkey club (huge) with fries and DD had shitake garlic noodles and boneless wings (both appetizers).
The food was good and fairly priced in my opinion, so no complaints. The kitchen had some issues that day and two batches of the wings never made it to the table due to quality issues with the breading, the third finally arrived as we were almost finished eating. The manager in charge stopped by two different times to explain and apologize which was nice. We were in no hurry so no biggy. We also ordered two desserts to share, the salted caramel dessert was put in front of my husband and he started eating it and after two bites that was taken away be a server (not our server) who said "wrong one!". We found out a few moments later when they brought back the replacement that the dessert also had a quality issue and we were served the wrong one. At least they are looking at the stuff coming out of the kitchen!
We settled the bill and when I looked at the receipt later I saw we were not charged for the wings or the desserts. It was definately not expected so thank you management! Overall, we would go back, there are so many food choices it would take some time to get bored with the food.
Tip: Look at menu online, especially if your time it limited.
