Our Church members stayed here for Thanksgiving retreat Nov 22-Nov24' 2012. We booked 19 rooms. It's was a secluded, quiet and very nice hotel. Everybody was so happy and has a good time, especially the children (sorry for the noise). The atmosphere is wonderful; nice patio where we can ate and played cards and relaxed. Super super good job to Niel Nana that helped me to book the hotel and arranged the contract in just one day before arrival date and make it happened. Thank you very much To Niel, God works his miracle through you so we could have this retreat. We stayed here for three nights at the end of our vacation before returning to the UK and we couldn't have made a better choice. The hotel is on a hill behind a small shopping mall, and although it's right by the freeway there is very little traffic noise. We loved the Spanish-style design. The staff are friendly, welcoming and very helpful, the standard of housekeeping is first class. Our room was spacious, quiet and sparkling clean. Hot and cold breakfast choices were good. There's a very pleasant heated pool in an open-air but sheltered courtyard, and a small patio area.

The hotel is ideally situated for visiting San Clemente and the other beach cities. The local beaches are good (nearest one to the hotel is a mix of sand and stones). We loved walking on the pier.

We recommend this hotel unreservedly and hope to be able to return soon.

My group of 13 had a lovely weekend here using the meeting room and hotel rooms. While this hotel is close to the freeweay and you hear some background droning, it was very peaceful. The atmosphere is delightful, right down to the lovely patio where we ate our lunch. All the hotel personnel were very helpful and Neel, the hotel coordinator for our group did a wonderful job ensuring that we had what we needed and that everything was all set for us. We'll be back next year!

I spent this past weekend with 12 other friends here on a special scrapbooking weekend. We all had a great time and loved the hotel. It's hidden in a shopping center, up a hill, and next to the freeway. All that doesn't sound that wonderful, but I didn't even hear the freeway noise, the hill made it a little secluded, and the shopping center (and the one across the street) had some good fast restaurants in that our ladies could grab food from. We loved the very large meeting room, which was right outside the hotel. It didn't feel like it was outside because there was a covered walkway. The pool was heated - a nice bonus - but it would have been nice to have a spa available. The rooms were all large and recently updated. The lobby had a Spanish-style look and was nice. The staff was always very friendly, meeting our requests for different things, and always had a smile. Some of the ladies had refrigerators that were really loud, but one had theirs changed out without a problem. Mine was fine. And there was a loud wedding party staying at the hotel. One of the ladies had her room changed to a more quiet part of the hotel, also not a problem. The breakfast was really tasty - cinnamon rolls were my favorite - but the hot breakfast was a bonus. We all just had a really nice experience here, and would definitely come back!!
