“Convinient to Commute to Downtown SF via BART with SPA an all amenities.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 17, 2010

For a solo business traveler like myself, who has a few weeks or few months job assignment in the San Francisco Bay Area, I strongly recommend Ramada Limited, San Bruno. We have three (3) means of public transportation, Caltrain (train), Samtrans (Bus), and BART (Train-subway) to downtown San Francisco. Caltrain station is a 5 minutes walk from the hotel, the bus stops right at the hotel, and the BART station is only a 1.5 mile drive (5 minutes), with $1 a day parking at the station. When you get back to the hotel, you have the choice of all kinds of meals. one block east of the hotel is the "Restaurant Row" of San Mateo. There are, at least ,20 different restaurants ranging from Italian, Middleastern, Mexican, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Thai, Indian, Brazillian, etc. are within the walking distance. The Spa (a Jacuzzi and a sauna) this hotel provides can also help you relax after the long exhausting work day. The hotel also has an exercise room. The very reliable FREE WiFi Internet connection is also a PLUS! This relatively economical hotel provides the convenience of commute to downtown San Francisco, all the amenities that a single business traveler might desire, and the very reasonable price for the area. The hotel is very close to the San Francisco International Airport, also. THEREFORE, I strongly recommend Ramada Limited, San Bruno to solo business travelers to San Francisco.

Location was questionable...reasonably close to SF airport. Somewhat rundown. The after hours check-in window is a dead give away. Not what you would expect from a Ramada! Staff is unfriendly and manager not willing to resolve problems. Avoid this one and pay a little extra quality SF airport hotel.

Got the room through Hotwire and we were pretty disappointed. Definitely not a 3*. The Holiday Inn Express in Burlingame is much better.

Not much to choose from for nearby dining in this part of San Bruno. Carpet was not clean - it was sticky. Worst continental breakfast I have seen - no fruit, no yogurt, no oatmeal, and juice machine was broken. Street noise was loud at times.

The room was terrible, holes in the carpet, dirty bathroom vanity, ( the girl at the desk actually came up in the room to see tghe vanity and USED our towels to try and clean) Comforter had stains on the botom of it, dirty furniture. Elevator doors were scratching closing and openiing.. Stayed less thean 2 hrs and checked out. Ramada General Offices very NOT interested in my complaints. Never return my phone calls. I would not stay at any other Ramada.

I stayed at this Hotel on March 2009 and I realized that, the comments I read were not true, this is a very good Hotel at affordable prices.
The General Manager and his Staff were very helpful.

We have used this property for several years as a "park -n-fly for our travels from SFO. The room was not clean and they put us on the front side with all the noise from El Camino. We were there to get a good night's sleep before we had to fly.

They used to put our car in the garage under the hotel so it wouldn't be in the hot sun while we were away. Not anymore, the car is parked outside and will be a mess when we return home in 3 weeks. We left our car there last time for 6 weeks and it was parked underneath out of the weather.

This hotel must have a new owner that doesn't care about the guests. This is the last time we ever stay at this dirty, run down property that doesn't care anymore.

This hotel looked like a place that you would go for the 4hr nap, if you know what I mean. The overall appearance was very dirty. The room wasnt too bad but the hallways and lobby looked very dirty. The staff appeared unproffesional but where somewhat friendly. The internet did not work and was very disappointed. Only would suggest this hotel if no other options.
