“A motel that doesn't pretend it's more than it offers”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 6, 2012

The place is basically a motel that doesn't pretend it's more than it offers. Apparently a part of the Best Western chain, and this is usually higher quality in Europe than in the US. With that in mind, this place was fine. Not expensive, and the points are given in relation to the price, it must be mentioned. Rooms are spacious, bathroom is clean, and the wifi works with no problems. Oh, and there are decent food options nearby - so I was satisfied.

This was my first time staying at this hotel and was very impressed! We got a great rate for the room which was very clean and spacious. Our room had a king size bed that was one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. The rooms also had microwaves and refrigerator. The hotel offered a free breakfast from six to nine which had a pretty good selection of eggs, pancakes, bagels and much more. The staff was also super friendly and always greeted us when we went for breakfast. The hotel did have a small pool which looks perfect for a quick swim.

The hotel is also in a great area with plenty of restaurants to choose from and easy free way access. Overall this was a great place to stay and will defiantly be staying here again!

I stood at the Best Western on Hospitality Lane for two nights.

Negatives
1. Price. Not worth $100 dollars a night. More like 79.
2. Television. Not flatscreen. Fuzzy channels. A generally crappy experience. I mean, come on. Doesn't every one like to watch some good TV in their rooms? Bad programming, old TV, no fun.
3. Food in area. Not many middle of the road options. A really bad TGIF. Mimi's cafe was decent.

Positives
1. Clean rooms, organized.
2. Friendly front-desk.
3. Generally quiet-area.

Overall, this hotel was not worth $100 dollars a night. I would stay here again, but you might want to spend your money elsewhere, and try a different experience.

Dear Rob,

Thank you for your comments. This week we have installed flat screen televisions in all of our rooms, I do apologize you did not get to experience the new televisions during your stay. I am glad to hear the rooms were clean and my staff was friendly. I sincerely do appreciate your business. Please feel free to contact me directly for your future stays

We stayed here again and as always we had a great room at a great rate. Our room was very nice and quiet and very comfortable. The pool is great and the morning breakfast is great, there is just enough to get us started. The hotel is close to many great restuarants and close to a Starbucks.

Room Tip: Plan ahead, this area can be very busy.

Your business is very important to us and we value your feedback. By telling us what you liked about your stay and how we can improve, you are helping us deliver a superior experience for you and other guests in the future.

These sensors were installed by Southern California Edison to save energy. We agree with you, they are causing more problems than they are worth. We are currently turning off the sensors in all rooms.

We hope you will come back and see us again soon.

We stopped here en route to visit friends in Palm Springs after time in Los Angeles. We got in late and were exhausted. Luckily this is a quiet location so we had no trouble sleeping. Jessica at the front desk was very accommodating, the room was clean and comfortable. They had a hot complementary breakfast that included eggs, sausage and pancakes -- along with the usual cereals, breads, juice and coffee. We had a pleasant breakfast (their dining room seemed a little cramped) and then were conveniently on our way.

You can't go wrong with this Best Western! I admit being a bit timid at check in time! My husband was checking in when a woman tapped on the passenger car window and asked if I could spare some change..I thought "Oh GREAT beginning." Reported to the desk and they sent someone out to check the area! Very impressed with the small pool and the room. Absolutely spotless! Most likely the cleanest Best Western we have ever stayed in. One caution, I am currently in a "disabled" state due to a health issue and cannot bend one knee well when sitting down. It was a LONG fall backwards into the abyss as my rear searched for the landing on an extremely LOW toilet! Housekeeping was excellent, as said above, but also very friendly and helpful. We decided to stay an extra day we were so comfortable there. FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE LOVED ONES UNDERGOING PROTON THERAPY AT THE LOMA LINDA UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL (which was our reason for the visit) it is a terrific place to stay while visiting! We grabbed breakfast at Mimi's nearby to start our days with full stomachs and it was nice place to visit and linger over coffee with our family while beginning our day!

Room Tip: In my current health status could NEVER have made the walk from a second floor room!
