“One of the worst motels I’ve ever stayed in”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed July 27, 2011

Our first room had a broken bed headboard the walls had what looked to be dried food on the walls and the restroom looked like it had not been cleaned in months after the first room we attempted to get our We asked to switch room and had to debate as to why, the manager stated that the room was just cleaned that day. In the end we got another room.. 100% worse the furniture was missing parts, broken, and some even had mold growing up the side closest to the restroom. The one bed was put together from old bed parts and the 2nd bed (twin) was on a steel frame bolted to the floor with sharp edges protruding. The larger of the two beds had dirty sheets and dried blood stains on the comforter. We asked for our money back and the manager stated there were no refunds. Would only recommend this motel to be condemned, it is not habitable by any”thing”

We arrived On Sunday night Thanksgiving weekend. The first room they gave us had paint peeling off the walls, large holes in the bathroom wall appx 9 x 11 inches. There were baby cockroaches on the TV stand. I went to the office to get a refund so we could try and find another motel but was not given one saying that it's the properties policy not to give refunds.

So then I asked for another room the 2nd room was as bad if not worse. As with the first room the beds were torn apart and worn down , pitchers that were hanging on the walls were on the floor with rust worn marks where the nails were. The bed spread had blood stains on it with stains that were from other fluids. The heater in the room did not work and the Bathroom window was rusted so that it couldn't be closed with a low in the 30's

I have called the health department in Salinas to report this Motel..
