“exquisite resort”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 12, 2012

If you wine to splurge in wine country or if money is no object, stay here. It reminds me of the Hamptons of California. Such an amazing property with fantastic service. We stayed a Treeline Fireplace Room and it was so elegant, comfortable, and homey. The croquet court is wonderful and the restaurants are fantastic. A hop, skip, and a jump from all the wineries. A wonderful place for a romantic weekend.

I hope that I have a chance to go back to Meadowood soon!

Me and my husband went last December to Meadowood for their "12 Days of Christmas" event and the hotel is as great as it was the first time I stayed there 10 year ago...actually, it is better... the Restaurant is fabulous, the rooms super cozy and great and attentive staff. Napa has a lot of nice and luxurious resorts and inns... but I still think Meadowood is best.l Love it.

Everything was excellent--the staff, the service, the facilities. All lead to a highly successful business meeting. Many thanks to everyone who helped make our meeting such a great success.

If you are in the mood for the best service in the world, go here. If you want a completely serene room with every single amenity possible, go here. From the initial introduction at the guards post upon entering, to the final emailed folio, every thing was spot on and above & beyond. The room we were given was at the top of 50 steps winding through open woods. A cabin or sorts with a front porch and a pitched ceiling. A stone fireplace welcomes you with a tall pile of freshly topped wood. The frette sheets adored the king size bed with plenty of pillows in various densities. The bathroom......ah the bathroom! A clawfoot tub big enough for 2, and a roman style shower and commode. The floor was heated too!
When we returned from dinner, our sheets were turned down, slippers out on each side of the bed and fresh macaroons & bottles of water for each person. We slept the best we have in years, I'm telling you! This property has over 10 hiking trails and numerous other things to entertain, or to leave you to your self. We ordered breakfast in the am & is showed up in 20 min - perfect and delicious. Check out is easy & all you do is call down to the front. I'm so in love with Meadowood, I want to live here. Well done, BRAVO!!!!!!!!!

Room Tip: I can't imagine you would get a bad room here.

Impeccable service, excellent amenities, and beds you would never want to get out of. The hotel as a whole is exquisite, but it's really the people who work here that make it a five star experience. I have stayed at Meadowood twice (though not for 2 or more years), and still dream of my time here. And from what I've heard, it hasn't changed one bit since then. It's quite expensive, but worth every penny.

For the second year we had an offsite event at Meadowood and everyone raved. The guest rooms are incredibly quiet and very comfortable. The meeting room had great natural light and was perfect for our group. All the catered food in the meeting room was delicious and bountiful. Our dinner in The Restaurant was a singular experience. Guest are made to feel like royalty! You might think it's out of your budget but staff work to make it affordable and we're returning next year.

Room Tip: I enjoyed the Croquet Lodge view with easy access to public buildings.
