Unfortunately, after a great day at other vineyards, this was the last stop and the worst stop. This was the second, "better get out if the host isn't good" experience of our two days of tastings. So many things wrong, so little right. Our host was not welcoming, we felt as if we were intruding on his conversation with another group when we arrived. He didn't stop his conversation to greet us or even tell us where to go or to wait a few minutes. There was no clear where do we go for the tasting...it was strange. So we just stood in this pole barn for him and about 15 minutes later he finally showed up. He then proceeded to pour the first wine. That was it. He poured the first glass then told us he had to go back to join the other group and he'd be back. It wasn't a "I'm short staffed sorry" it was like "you are here for the last appointment of the day and I'm bothered" kind of brush off. He left us for another 10 minutes before reappearing to grab another bottle of wine. He told us we could sit outside. He lead us to to chairs overlooking the beautiful property. He was offering us nothing, so I began to ask questions about the owners, the land, the history etc, He did answer questions asked but there was no real dialog going on. The group behind us were leaving so he walked them out to their cars and left us again letting us know the bottle was on the table if we wanted more. We just decided to leave. We would ONLY recommend this place for a place to lunch the views were fantastic.
