“Super very fresh food and great service.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 6, 2012

We stopped in here for lunch while touring the wineries and it was so good that we cam back again for lunch. We did not sit outside since it was too chilly the days we were there, but they have a really nice outside patio. They have a winery and farm and have their own beef and pork and eggs and vegetables. Some portions are very large, not all, and you have to be careful about over-ordering. My husband has celiac and they were able to accommodate him with no problem. The carpaccio was amazing and they had potted pig, like the Tuscan lardo with shredded pork that is too big for one. Their chocolate cream pie was the best I ever had. Second time he had a pork chop and I had a burger and fries. Just super and very friendly, competent service. We stayed too far away to come here for dinner, but I think they have music some nights. Nice bright, casual atmosphere.

“Yummy!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2012

Try the drop biscuits with ham and hot-pepper-ed jelly for an app! The daily risotto was excellent and the griddled carrot cake was delicious!

“Great restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2012

We generally hit Farmstead late in the afternoon after a few stops at wineries in the Napa area. Food is incredibly well prepared. I've had salads, appetizers and/or seafood on my visits and always came away delighted. Last trip there one of my friends had the cheeseburger and was in absolute heaven. Will definitely return next time I am up in wine country.

“Good but higher priced than expected.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 2, 2012

Lunch for 4 expect $140. Little pricey considering I had a hamburger and didn't drink any wine. So lunch for 4 with 1 glass of wine and a non-burger each would have been about $160-$180. Hmmmm...little pricey for lunch fare.

“Nice place”

Really tasty food and exceptional service. Price was a little high and the portions could be a bit bigger but overall we really enjoyed it and will be back.
