We stayed at Le Re Rivage on October 24, 2009. From beginning to end our experience was top notch.

First of all I'd like to commend the staff. We were Greeted by Karessa at the front desk. Check in was fast, friendly and efficient. Honestly, check in and check out = quite pleasant! Tom assisted us with our luggage and was a font of information. Tony gave us directions that allowed us to truly enjoy our bike ride along the Sacramento River to old town. Each staff member we encountered went above and beyond. They truly provide superior customer service at Le Rivage!

We were able to upgrade our room and had a wonderful view of the river. The bed was divine, the room lovely and the bathroom nicely appointed.

I had the most incredible massage at Spa Lale`. If you're lucky enough to visit when Linda is working, I highly recommend her!

Dinner at Scott's [I am not a seafood person] My husband had the Ciopino and found it to be Delicious. Again, the staff, wonderful. The Bar warm, the spirits delightful. Back to Scott's for breakfast, excellent. By all means, visit Le Rivage!

These photos don't do the property justice, they were taken on a cell phone. BUT they do give a general idea.

Beautiful room with amazing bathroom - recommend you upgrade to River View room as near noisy motorway. Scotts restaurant attached serves excellent sea food but suggest you book. Only criticism is that the hotel is 4 miles outside of Sacramento town center, though the hotel provided complementary limo for us when we wanted it.

Le Rivage is a lovely gem of a hotel that exceeded my expectations in every way. We arrived late in the evening tired from our drive and Robert not only checked us in, but upgraded us to a lovely river view room. Although we called room service a mere 20 minutes before they closed, they were cheerful and we had hot, delicious dinner delivered to our balcony amazingly quickly. Service throughout our stay was top notch. The room was lovely, the balcony overlooking the river amazing and the ability to stroll the beautiful grounds along the river anytime from early morning to late at night was the perfect way to begin a relaxing vacation. I would not only recommend Le Rivage to others, I am already looking forward to our next stay there!

Sorry it was only one night! We really loved the hotel - we were given an upgrade to a river front room with balcony and enjoyed it, and the room! It is such a lovely property, and we strolled by the river, enjoyed the fire-pits, and had a great dinner at Scott's there on the property. The bathroom is to die for with the claw-foot tub and heavenly bathrobes! Only negative was having to pay for valet parking. Otherwise this is a great place & they have thought of it all - a top choice for SAC!

We just returned from our weekend at Le Rivage and loved it! The hotel is beautiful and it's location on the Sacrameto River makes it a very peaceful place to relax and unwind. Staff was SO friendly - continually greeting us with a wave, a "hi", or a smile whenever we saw them throughout our stay. Our room was beautiful - we had a balcony on the South end of the hotel, with a fantastic view of the river. Food at Scott's Seafood was fantastic.
Our only minor complaints (suggestions really) is that they need to expand the room service menu - I have never seen with so few choices. Portions from room service were inconsistent. I had a large piece of salmon one night while my husbands chicken was ridiculously small. The plate was filled out with enough rice to feed 3 people. It was all delicious, but odd portions, especially for the price. Breakfast - also very good was strangely portioned, as well. One day hubby had eggs with 3 fat sausages, but next day eggs with ham consisted of one extremely thin slice of ham - we're talking sandwich thin! Other than that, food was all high quality and very good.
Our only other issue was with our housekeeper. The room was very clean, but she was not good about restocking tissues, soap, etc - we had to track her down to get shower gel for the next day because she did not restock anything including the complimentary water that was supposed to come each day.
Again, these were very small things compared to how much we loved the place and we will definitely be back. Oh yeah, the clawfoot tub was awesome!
