“Relax by the riverside”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 25, 2012

Comfortable and clean, the Le Rivage Hotel offers good food, friendly and attentive staff and a pleasant stay, away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. Take a walk along the riverfront and enjoy the view of the boats and wildlife.

Room Tip: Ask for a "riverside room" to enjoy the boats and water, but also to avoid the noise from...

Thank you for writing this review. At Le Rivage, we want each guest to be able to relax and let the worries leave their minds when on property. I am glad that you take the time to walk the bike path and acknowledge the serenity of the wildlife and the river. I am glad you had a nice experience here with us and hope that you come back in the near future. Again, thank you for taking the time to write this review.

“Job well done Le Rivage”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 11, 2012

My fiancé and I stayed here to celebrate our 3 year anniversary. When we looked online for nice hotels in the area for a sort of "Staycasion” there were plenty of choices for us but we are sick of chain hotels they never seem to make you feel welcome...amd there was something about the Le Rivage that kept telling us to stay here. When we called the hotel to check the rates we were told that because we were locals we get a extra 20% off the normal rate which right off the bat had us excited to stay. Whomever helped us on the phone ( I didn’t catch their name) but they were amazing and very helpful they answered all of our questions and even told us about things like the pool and how it stays open all night just as long as you are quite (and we were) and about some fire pits that they light every night for guests to sit and enjoy the river. (and we did we brought our own items and made smores) From the second I hung up the phone I was confident that we were making the right choice for a place to spend our special night with. The day that we arrived at the hotel i thought we were at the wrong place. The hotel was lined with beautiful flowers and looked like a place we right off the bat not able to afford. We were greeted with warm smiles by the valet and had help with our luggage. (WE FELT REALLY VIP) when we checked in the agent greeted us with a nice big "welcome to the le Rivage" the check in was fast and just like the phone call very informative. A bellman helped us all the way to the room telling us history of the hotel and asked if it was our first time here (we must of really looked shocked or something) when we entered the room my fiancé’s mouth fell to the floor the rooms were something else!!! The room had a beautiful view of the river; the bed was perfectly made with chocolates on the pillows (Just like the movies!) We also were shown a safe in the room as well as a refrigerator by the bellman. We really felt like a million bucks! Before we could get settled we stepped into the bathroom and let me start by saying HOLY COW! I have stayed in a lot of hotels before because of business but never one with a bathroom like this. It came with a claw foot bathtub and a beautiful walk in shower. Also there were two robes for us to use throughout our stay we really felt like king and queen for the entire stay we had! There was a wedding when we were there but honestly i thought it was quite nice to see the wedding ( it really gave us some ideas) and the noise wasn’t bad at all they were quite by 11 and honestly who sleeps before that on a weekend anyways!! All in all from check in to check out we were very pleased with the staff, the spa, and valet. Everyone was always smiling and ready and willing to help us in any way. The Le Rivage was the best hotel i or my fiancé has ever stayed in and the people there were so perfect you would think they all took some king of hospitality class for that kind of attention. Le Rivage was a home away from home even if we just lived right around the corner. I highly recommend this place to anyone that is looking to have the most memorable nights of their life or for someone who just needs to get away from reality and step into what it’s like to be a KING OR QUEEN even if it’s just for a night.

“Retreat within Sacramento”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 3, 2012 via mobile

I had heard about this hotel from friends so my husband and I decided to check it out. We live in Sacramento and are always trying to find retreats and 1 night romantic stays that are nearby just to get away from our hectic lives from time to time. The hotel and property are beautiful. You don't feel like you're in Sacramento but in a lovely Italian Villa far away. The decor and view are lovely. The fire pits overlooking the river romantic and the fireplace room very cozy. Not to mention the great beds and tub. We will definitely vist this hotel again and on our next visit hope to spend some time getting a couples massage at the spa.

“Great place to stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2012

I stayed here on business, but it was certainly more of a hotel I would stay at for pleasure. It was GREAT!!! The restaurant on site is also great. We sat on the patio and enjoyed the beautiful weather.

Room Tip: Stay on the side that you have view of the river.

“Best hotel + restaurant tandem in Sacramento”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2012

My fiancée and I live in Sacramento and have stayed here twice in the last month. It's just that good! The rooms are clean, the bear claw tub and the tub jacuzzi are awesome, and the icing on the cake, Scotts Seafood, has a great ambiance and even better food.
