it was smelly, noisy, the floor was wet.
the breakfast closed at 9:00
I used to book Travelodge regularly but i am not going to consider it again.
It travel a lot and this should have been among the bottom 3 hotels I have stayed ever in the past 20 years in US.

The rooms were clean, but you could hear the traffic outside. Also I didn't see a channel guide for the television which would have made it easier to find my favorite channels.

I have stayed in my fair share of cheap hotels over the years but this was by far the worst!!! My fiancé and I were staying just for bed purposes for his quick one day business trip and I will never return to this place ever again!!! First off, walking from the back (west) parking lot to the elevator I almost tripped on a lip where a pipe/sewer entrance was in the middle of the walkway, and it was at least approx. 1/2" deep lip. Then upon arriving upstairs at our room, room 305 by the stairs, I noticed that the window lock was a piece of plywood stuck in between the frame of the window and the window itself, like someone would do at home, not in a hotel. Walked into the room and the TV and phone were both unplugged and cords were lying on the floor under the desk which I found later after noticing the back of the entertainment system panel was bowed out from the TV being shoved in too deep just to fit in it and not hang out in front. The carpet in the entire room looked like a shampooing was desperately needed. Neither of us walked around barefooted in this place. The seam between the carpet and the bathroom tile had no cover so stuff could easily fall and lay in that approx. 1/4" gap or you could stub your toe. The bathroom door had 3 giant patch jobs done to it that were of the pink putty color on a brown wood cheap hollow door. The light/fan cover was dangling and looked like it would drop at any given time. The one plus side to the bathroom was that the tile on the flooring and the walls looked fairly recent and ok but then the crappy cover-up of a patch job where the shower curtain rod connected to the wall ruined that. The little section where the outside bathroom sink, fridge, microwave and hangers was just odd, as the wall that separated them had enough room to accommodate the fridge and microwave to leave more storage and hanging space by the bathroom sink, instead of cramming it all into this little 4'x6' space. The bed was a bed but when either of us sat at the foot it lifted the head a little bit, regardless of weight (I only weigh approx 135 and am only 5'5"). Oh, and walking down the stairs the next morning the floor below by the stairs reeked of pot! Lastly, check out time is 11:00 am a standard for most hotels. When I called for a late check out I was informed that it was 11:30 am, and that they needed to get the rooms cleaned and ready, which is totally understandable but the hotel was NOT at full capacity AND the guy at the front desk was a complete jerk in his tone when I asked if it would be possible to extend that time out as most hotels have a late checkout time no later than 1 pm. Needless to say I was given until noon to pack up and vacate the room when I received a phone call from the front desk (same guy) with the audacity to ask if I was done. Let's just say I had some choice words for him and shortly after left the premises.

Room Tip: Just don't do it!
