Beautiful rooms!!!! Down pillows..comfy beds!!! I booked through Hotwire and needed 2 rooms for our family of 9..Got a great deal for $68/room!.. The view was over the bar and eating area which was a bit strange but room was very quiet! They didn't offer free internet connection which we had received on lower quality hotels on our trip(Best Westerns). The water bottles in room if consumed cost $2.50 ea which I thought was silly! We didn't eat at the hotel but seemed to be very pricey.. Pool was nice for the kids.

Just completed my second stay at the Hilton Arden West. The room on the 12th floor was great. Nice balcony to step out on from the guest room. Immaculately clean rooms and bathroom. The beds were very comfortable with down comforters and down pillows. Yes, elevators are a bit slow, but it's only 12 floors, big deal. The lobby area is spacious and attractive. Breakfast Buffet was excellent, made to order omelettes and waffles, great assortment of fruit, cereal, breads etc. Restaurant service was exemplary, check-in was swift and the lounge was pleasant after returning from the theatre. Paid $114 for the room, can't complain about the value. A soda vending machine would be a nice addition though.

We stayed one night at the Sacramento HIlton on Arden Way. Near Business 80 and Arden Fair Shopping Center. We stayed on the top floor which is quiet with a nice view. Though there is no concierge lounge. The room was nice, clean and quite. Our check in was smooth. We had complimentary breakfast at the Hotel restaurant it was average so we later drove to West Sacramento and had Chinese Dim Sum at King's restaurant. The parking is outside and does get a bit crowed in terms of finding a parking spot. I recommend staying at this Hilton if you can book a decent rate on the internet. We paid around $108.00 via internet rate.

According to the hotel's website, it has just spent $7 million on remodeling. The exterior of this hotel looks dated, and it appears none of the $7 million renovation budget was spent on the elevator. As a Hilton VIP, I was upgraded to the Concierge floor (floor 11 & 12 are Concierge level). Decent size room, low ceiling, robe, received 2 free bottles of water, $10 HSIA, bathroom amenities are from Crabtree & Evelyn. Bathroom itself is small, rusty shower head (no renovation $ spent here either). The bed is comfortable, feather pillow & down comforter. Honor bar, soft drink, cheese tray, fruit, fudge cake & one hot item were served at the Executive lounge during weeknight (5-9pm). Breakfast (6-9:30am) at the lounge was standard continental: cereal, bagel, toast, juice & hard boiled egg.
