The rooms are delightful, the river view is fantastic, food is fabulous, staff is attentive. This is a unique historic property and you won't find another one like it. You stay on the beautifully remodeled river boat. There is a theatre, restaurant and lounge also on board. This is a must-stay!

Recently, I took a short, but memorable trip to Sacramento. By far, the highlight of my trip was spending three wonderful nights aboard the beautiful Delta King Hotel. I cannot begin to explain how helpful and accommodating every member of the staff is. Everyone, from the front desk manager to the valet, are kind, caring, and deeply committed to excellent customer service. The entire front desk staff are to be commended for their exceptional, gracious service!

A lot of care and pride have gone into maintaining and caring for the lovely Delta King Hotel...and it shows!!! This hotel is such a wonderful alternative to staying at a large, impersonal hotel elsewhere. I was made to feel like a welcome guest at a friend's home.

This beautiful boat is truly a treasure and I look forward to returning in the very near future for a longer stay!!!

The rooms, are tiny, dusty, they smell, the bathrooms are made for midgets. We originally booked for 2 nights, but after we saw the room we were both like, we are not staying here. We were charged for 1 night even though we did'nt stay there at all. This place sucks. I won't recomend this place to even my enemies.

The Out of Towners. That is what we felt like during our two days of misery of the Delta King. I think the boat should be named "The Court Jester " instead but it was not funny. We had booked a river view room and when we got there, they sent us to a dirty dock view room. The second room they sent us to (with keys) was occupied!!!!!! The third room they sent us to had a river view but was small and dank. The heat didn't work. The blinds wouldn't shut and even the water was foul. The bathroom was a joke and the soap dish inside the shower was falling off so you could not keep soap in it. The "show" Suspects which we went to was sooooooooo awful that I wanted to leave 2 seconds after it started and the food served was bad. I could go on and on but I'll sum it by saying it was so bad that we met with the owner in his office and he promised us a comp night on him. It has been two months and we still wait and wait.
