Chose this spot from the Best Western website for a 2-day conference. I had selected an "oversized room" and was pretty dismayed that the room seemed to be so small. I also could have sworn that the room came supplied with a microwave and refrigerator, but it did not. (My fault there -- I rechecked the website, and I guess I got it confused with another motel.) However, when we checked with the front desk, we were told that work was still being done on the motel, and a small refrigerator was immediately brought to our room and set up. The room was very clean -- except the "headboards" for the beds consist of a puffy fabric attached to the wall with wooden frames, and there were a couple yucky stains on that fabric. Just stay away from the headboards. The counter area around the bathroom sink was the smallest I think i've ever seen in a hotel bathroom, but the room was otherwise fairly comfortable. The room was relatively quiet, except for the second night. Apparently a family with small children was placed in the room next to us, and the small children were quite horribly noisy. We could hear it all, as the rooms adjoined right near the entrance door/bathroom area, and the noise cam through the adjoining door that would be left unlocked if patrons so desired. The continental breakfast provided was very nice, and very well stocked and maintained. Free parking is provided on the ground floor, and felt a little creepy at night, but was well lit and seemed to be well covered by security cameras. The restaurant which kind of shares the front parking area with the hotel was also quite nice, with a friendly accommodating staff. All in all, not a bad place for my first stay in Sacramento, but I believe I'll check out other possibilities on future rips.
