One reason I stick with Marriott properties is that they are clean and reliable. This one is no exception. However, it is still 6 miles from the airport and the only nearby restaurants are a greasy spoon truck stop or a Burger King. But it is better than the horrible airport hotel at the airport.

We took a night flight into sacramento, called front desk earlier that day to make a reservation for the shuttle to pick us up, and she said that we should just call after we picked up our baggage. Our driver showed up about a half hour after we had called him and he was slightly grumpy and a crazy driver. When we got to the hotel we learned that the shuttle stopped running at 10pm and we called at 11:45pm. So it was very nice of them to still pick us up. There was an average continental breakfast in the morning. The price was a bit on the high side for what you get and it was farther away from the airport than we expected.

Stayed here for four nights in late May/early June. Right off of I-80 and I-5. Two miles from a multitude of restaurants, entertainment, and shopping. Downtown was about 10 minutes away and Roseville's shopping mall is about 30 minutes away.

Across the street is a 24-hour truck stop/restaurant so there is a lot of traffic, but it is easy to navigate the area. The hotel itself is well-kept and the staff is very nice. Great breakfast - with waffles! I stayed on the third-floor and away from the elevator to avoid any noise. Really isn't a scenic area due to the highways, but still pleasant.

Got a great rate via Marriott.com which made the stay that much more enjoyable! (80 bucks a night.) Sadly, the one thorn in this review is that my TV had some poorly-received channels and the tech was a day late in arriving, which was the day I was leaving! Overall, great and peaceful stay.

The hotel is just off the freeway. Consequently there are a lot of arrivals/departures and it is fairly noisy. We had a room on the ground floor just by an entrance and were disturbed overnight by people coming in.

However, it was a very clean and comfortable room. The staff were very friendly and breakfast was as expected (good). There were 2 computers in the business centre in the lobby with fast internet access and a printer available.

There is no reasonable local eating - it is about 10 minutes up the interstate to Natomas Marketplace where there are several restaurants. It was an easy and very quick drive into Sacramento with easy access to the parking for Old Sacramento.
