“Great location for business travel to Sacramento.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 18, 2013 via mobile

The hotel staff are very professional and helpful. The hotel is clean. Nothing fancy but a good place to stay. Close proximity to the airport, restaurants and the freeway. I will return. The Black Bear Diner across the parking lot is an added plus.

Thank you for your recent stay with us and for taking time to provide feedback. We agree that we are in a great location for our business travelers such as you. Just a few minutes from Downtown Sacramento, West Sacramento, Davis, Woodland, and other areas in the Sacramento area. We are also the closest Marriott property to the Sacramento International Airport.

We arrived at the hotel at 10pm and our rooms were good. We had a morning flight and were leaving our car for Park and Fly. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful and the rooms were ok. We had 1 handicapped room and a smaller room as we had requested adjoining rooms due to the size of our party.

We had low expectations for the early bird breakfast, but were pleasantly surprised to find a good selection of cold items and things we could grab quickly for the plane. We were on their 7am shuttle to the airport and it was a Saturday so hot breakfast wasn't to be available until 7am, however my kiddos were thrilled when the attendant had the waffles ready to go before we had to get on the shuttle.

Shuttle ride to the airport was quick and easy, the driver was very friendly.

After our week vacation we again returned to the Fairfield from our 10pm arrival time. They had assured us on our previous stay that we would again have adjoining rooms. However that turned out not to be the case, which was frustrating with multiple kids, grandparents, etc, Still, our car was right where we left it, the beds were comfortable after a long day of traveling.

There is a 24 hour diner across the way which was very good.

not being rushed in the morning we were able to enjoy the breakfast, although this time they didn't have the greek yogurt option which was our favorite from the 1st stay.

We let the kids enjoy the outdoor pool which though small, was warm enough and the weather outside was warm as well.

They have a card of items that you can ask for at the front desk if you need anything, we were happy to get some lotion and baby shampoo for our youngest.

We enjoyed both of our stays here and would definitely recommend and stay here again for future park and fly needs as it is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Great spot to recharge from traveling.

We did not explore Sacramento at all so do not know how well this hotel would work for sightseeing and getting to places other than the airport are.

Overall a great experience.

From the minute you walk thru the doors of this hotel, you will notice nothing but clean. Very friendly front desk personnel. They answered all our questions and helped us with scheduling the airport shuttle to arranging for a wake-up call. The beds were very comfortable and there was a spacious bathroom. The breakfast area had ample seating and a nice selection of breakfast items, scrambled eggs, sausage patties, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, muffins, bagels, juices, coffee. The hotel worker that was working the breakfast area was very friendly, prompt, courteous and efficient. She was there to help you get something, find something or to clean up when you were finished. Very hard worker - applause to her (sorry I don't know her name).

This is a newer hotel and I would DEFINITELY stay here again when traveling to Sacramento.

Visit the Black Bear Diner which is just across the street if you are staying at this hotel. LOTS of good food and desserts!!

This hotel is great!! Stayed here for the Taylor Swift concert and it was super convenient to the sleeptrain arena. I was able to take the back roads and avoid the freeway. Very friendly staff that went ABOVE AND BEYOND their duty!! I left my iphone charger & adapter in the room. When I returned home I realized they were missing, called the hotel and after a look in the room they found it, they told me they would send it to my house and it arrived a couple days later. It was awesome of them to do this and not keep it. I will definitely stay here again. Rooms are really clean & comfy. Breakfast was best I have had; the attendant was really nice and stayed there to help with your needs. Overall, a great place to stay in Sac:)

The Fairfield Inn is located right off the freeway with easy access east and west. (Didn't hear any traffic noise at all.) When we arrived Casey was on duty and greeted us with a friendly "hello" and how can we help you! You don't get a greeting like that at most hotels! He explained everything to us before we went to our room. The room we got was on the 2nd floor overlooking the pool area. It was very clean and comfortable. Check out was great as well. Kudos to all the staff on duty this weekend! Would definitely stay here again.

The lobby was newly remodeled and was very nice. The front desk was very friendly, informative, and helpful but the maid staff was a little off. When we first got into our room, a young employee opened our door accidentally and shocked us. A few minutes later, a guy did the same thing. We kept wondering if our room was the " employee hook up room", Breakfast was average, but I loved the waffles. The rooms however were not greatly furnished and our television was extremely small to what I am used to at other fairfield inns. I liked the location though and would not mind staying at this hotel again, but hopefully it will be finished being updated by then. Nothing really bad to say about this hotel but nothing quite great either. For the price we paid, it was a steal.

Thank you for staying with us at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Sacramento Airport Natomas. We are happy that all our rooms and suites have been renovated to the newest Fairfield Inn & Suites décor package. New carpet, wall coverings, paint, artwork, bedding, drapes and desk chair went into every room and suite during June and July! We also added a mini fridge to every single room! Our King suites also have a microwave. Nice, new 32" flat screen TV's were also added to every room. Our suites are a little larger, so we were able to add a 39" flat screen in our suites without it being too large for the room. Our new HOT breakfast was added in April, and includes fresh scrambled eggs and sausage. We added the eggs and sausage to our existing breakfast buffet that includes, fresh waffles, fresh fruit, sliced fruit, oatmeal with choice of toppings, 10 types of cold cereal, hard boiled eggs, four choices of fruit juice, coffee, large variety of teas, hot chocolate and apple cider. We also have a nice variety of bagels, bread, English muffins, blueberry and apple cinnamon muffins, low fat and non fat milk, and three types of yogurt, including Activia and the popular Greek Yogurt. We go a step beyond nearly every hotel in the area by having a limited "early bird" breakfast every single morning beginning at 3:30 am, prior to our regular Hot breakfast beginning at 5:30 on weekdays and 7 am weekends! If you are catching those early flights, this is perfect.

We hope everyone enjoys our new and modern lobby and rooms as much as we love them!
