You've got to love a restaurant that takes weekends off, and doesn't bother to put a sign out front. None of that matters, of course, because this local star of Diners and Dives is always busy, with large portions, and a solid menu featuring fresh fish, onion rings to die for, several steak sandwich selections and mixing bowl-sized salads.
They don't take reservations, but somehow, the wait is never too long. We were there the week of St. Paddy's Day so they had their Irish on display with corned beef and cabbage. Some of the denizens look like they were installed with the original bar stools. Gotta love it.
