“We are so lucky to have this scenic view”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

We are so lucky to live next to such a wonderful view of nature. This trail goes on forever and it connects to so many other trails in the area. It's just so calming and relaxing and makes you forget you live in a city. I take advantage of being able to connect with nature and I walk, jog, run or bike the trails every single day, twice a day. If you haven't been out there, you have to experience it. Trust me you'll be back over and over again!

“the outdoor jewel of Sacramento”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 19, 2013

For natural setting in an urban it's hard to rival the ARP in Sacramento. Both developed and undeveloped areas have something for everyone; great fishing, hiking, biking, picnicking, wildlife viewing. If you're a nature lover this is the place to spend time when in Sacramento.

“One of the best benefits of living near Sacramento!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 18, 2013

This trail is amazing, whether you are a walker or biker. My husband and I ride the trail at least once a month. There are lots of places to get on and off. The trail is well-maintained. One of our favorite outings is to start in Old Town Folsom, ride to Old Town Sac for Lunch, and then take the Light Rail back to Folsom.

“Too Many Rude Nuts!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed January 8, 2013

Very, very nice trail.. With clear signs noting that walkers go on the dirt paths, bikers down the middle on the asphalt.. And TONS of people waddle themselves out into the middle of the path, strolling along talking or whatever, right in the paths of the cyclists.. And then they cuss at the cyclists who ride by!!

Meanwhile, the cyclists are the nicest people, honestly! I've seen more strangers stop their bikes to help others...

“Great way to spend an afternoon!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 4, 2013

Scenery is fabulous. Nice path along the river to walk or bike and many little trails taking you down to the rivers edge.My favorite area is along Hagan Park where you can stop and let the kids play at the park. A word of caution though if you are going with young children, the other cyclists can be very fast and aggressive. Some holler at you to move out of the way! So keep your children close and move them off to the side of the trail when a large group is approaching.
