This was the first winery that my husband and I have ever been to. Coming from the tristate area, we did not know what to expect. We walked onto the grounds and a bunch of tiny frogs frogs were leaping around. We thought they were bugs, it was so cool. If you go and do the tour, you will hear the neat story that comes with this. Then, we walked into the house, and it was like straight out of a Pottery Barn catalog, very cozy and welcoming along with their friendly dog Abby who has free range of the property, lucky girl. We arrived a bit early and were welcomed by some pretour wine. They only do small group tours around 6-10 people, so make your reservations early. Our tour guide was thorough and informative. This winery practices sustainable farming and truly do, you will see their vegetable, fruit, and herb gardens which we did not see in the other wineries we visited. They truly practice what they preach. Quality, not quantity. We also visited some big name wineries, but this was very memorable to us. You will see :) Very welcoming, and feels like family. Hope to be back in the near future to see their culinary center they will open in the near future.
