“Convenient Roseville/Rocklin Location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2014

We stayed here when visiting family in the area, and it was convenient to everything we needed--just off 1-80. The beds were comfy, the room was clean and it was nice to have the kitchenette. They had a selection of DVD's at the main desk to borrow as well as fresh apples and cookies when we checked in. We would happily return again to this property.

Dear BanaB,
Thank you for taking the time to review the Larkspur landing. It sounds as though the location was great for your recent visit, and the convenience of having a kitchen was helpful too. The entire staff wishes to thank you for your recent stay, and we hope to see you again soon!
Regards,
Patricia

Have stayed here many times and have never had a problem. Located in a safe neighborhood, it's convenient to restaurants, malls and the main freeway. The rooms are clean and spacious and the staff is always friendly and helpful. We'll be staying there again, for sure!

I'm happy with the place - full kitchen and enough space for a family of four with two small kids, for a great price. We were there for a foot race. Love the fact that we have a kitchen to cook our own meals. We brought our own spices. The breakfast wasn't bad at all. We will be back when we're in this part of town. The room is bigger than the Marriott in the same location. The only down thing with Larkspur is the old place smell (but then my husband always tells me I have a very sensitive nose), other than that, love the place!

I found this hotel easy to find, convenient location and excellent rates for a room. Staff were all very welcoming and treated us like valued guests. Check in was a breeze and I would recommend Larkspur Landing to all of my family and friends. The hotel room was so clean, fresh and comfortable that I felt I could have almost just stayed there all weekend relaxing instead of attending the party we came down for!

Very clean, large, and modern room for an outstanding value. What a location for families with an amusement park across the street and popular places to eat in walking distance. The amenities rival any hotel. It is, however, difficult to find the right freeway exit especially at night.

Room Tip: Recommend the king studio suite it is a much larger room

Very comfortable room, nice & receptive staff, great amenities. I would recommend traveling here for biz or with the kids. Free DVD rentals in lobby (DVD player in room) with solid selection including lots of Disney options. We had an issue getting DVD to play- and maintenance was here fixing it in a few minutes. Rooms have kitchen, nice table, & solid bathroom. Hotel has small workout facility and biz center. Free wifi in rooms- you can pay a few bucks for faster connection or carry a private router like I do. Free breakfast - mostly cold items which is good for me. Down the street from Galleria and Tahoe Joe's in parking lot. Overall very nice hotel and we will definitely stay again!

The property address is on Taylor Road, but good luck finding it if you actually look for it on Taylor Rd. Very difficult to find at night since no logical entry on Taylor. The owner keeps making tripadvisor response comments about this being the case but doesn't do anything about this to allow customers to find the property easier. Have to disagree with Kip P's trashing of the property since he used hotels.com. Had the opposite experience also using hotels.com. After notifying the front desk there were ants in the bathroom due to an earlier flooding problem, they found another room that was an upgrade and the bedroom was separate from the kitchen/living room area. Granted the air flow was poorly designed, but that's not the fault of employees working providing service (the fault lies with the company who designed/built the property). The window A/C unit blew air into the living room/kitchen area, not the bedroom, so had to borrow a floor fan to move cool area into the sleeping area, even in January. The High/Low switch in the bedroom is useless-didn't notice any difference even after 24 hours with a High setting. Can't imagine how uncomfortable it would be in Jul/Aug/Sep in the height of summer heat. Service was excellent when asked before reserved on hotels.com if would be allowed to use the hot tub after hours. They were very responsive and said "No problem, OK to use anytime". Substandard room entry door didn't close by itself, so had to pull close to lock when enter/exit to secure the door.

Room Tip: Make sure you know exactly where the property is before attempting to find it at night; otherwise yo...
