“Great stay, super friendly staff!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 12, 2011

The Larkspur Landing hotel in Roseville greatly exceeded my expectations. The room was comfortable and very clean. The little touches really made a difference - air freshener in the room (noticed the great smell upon walking in), complimentary snacks in the room as well as fruit and cookies in the lobby, lots of breakfast choices. Great value for the price! The front desk staff at check-in (Jennifer) was very friendly and made us feel welcomed. She offered dinner and activity recommendations and was generally a happy person.

This hotel is fantastic. Clean, lovely contemporary decor, several little extras. We saw a couple of rooms, and, if you sleep with the window open, as we do, you do NOT want a room on the road side - the noise of the traffic is deafening! If you get a room on the other side, you'll be fine. Roseville Whole Foods is AMAZING!

I've stayed at a bunch of different locations with different hotels/motels. This is by far one of the nicest. We stayed in a studio - small kitchenette, business table. From the chairs to the bed, everything was clean and comfortable. My ONLY complaint would be the smoking by staff and guests right outside the front door (around the corner but you can still smell it). The location is good too with the windows quieting Hwy 80.
AWESOME value for the accommodations, ok breakfast and good location.

One of the best for a moderate price on weekends! Weekday a little steep but excellent, nonetheless!

Room Tip: ALL Nice but rooms by Tahoe Joe's across from workout room and spa the easiest and quietest!

I got stuck in this place for over a month and although the staff was always friendly they seemed to miss taking the initiative to walk out the front door and tell the guests or whoever that would sit at the front tables drinking to lower their voices or just shut up. I sleep with the windows open and Roseville cools down enough that you can at night, and I get this can be a vacation stop for some but if you like to sleep through the night this is not the place to stay. This place is on top of the freeway so asking for a room facing the parking lot makes sense but factor in the loud obnoxious groups that get away with this behavior until 2am and the front desk not stepping out to do something about it will force you into writing a review in the middle of the night.

The walls are paper thin and I’m certain some big guy was doing his P90X or Zoomba upstairs. After time you learn to communicate through pounding on the ceiling and that seems to work. Yes, this has to be the hotspot for those lucky couples and that one night they get away from their kids, but people moving furniture around until midnight is not needed.

Some other noises you will learn to enjoy runs from the trash pickup in the parking lot at 6:30 every day. You can always tell it’s that time when you hear the sounds of the dustpan that hits the ground and the gentle sweeping sounds. Another is the delightful sounds of that tour bus that pulls up in front and dumps a million travelers out. Zoomba guy always starts up after the bus shows up.

Clean, good AC, and fresh cookies are a plus though.

Room Tip: Ask for a room closer to the other hotel and not on the freeway side.

This hotel was very nice, staff very good ,the free breakfast is not very good , just a little space with quaker cups with oatmeal , boiled eggs and cheese sticks , the only think that killed me , was the bed i stayed for 3 days and the bed is too soft is a feather bed , i was so bad that i couldnt walk and enjoy the city.

Room Tip: the room is very nice just the bed didnt worked for me
