“exceptional staff and quality property”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2013

We were part of a group of family and friends gathering from all over the world. The hotel staff helped us at every turn. From handing out maps to get us all to our afternoon destination to researching doggie day care, the efficient and professional people at the front desk were there for us. Even as we got out of our car, a staff member on his break welcomed us. The woman in charge of sales or marketing made a point to come out from behind the desk to visit with us and offer her help. Everyone seemed relaxed and friendly.. a sure sign of good management.
We especially enjoyed the outstanding breakfast bar with fresh fruit, yogurt, scrambled eggs, divine little pastries, and so much more. The group could mingle in the breakfast room and lobby as we shared memories over the morning coffee. In the evening we appreciated being close to the mall for finding a nice Italian dinner at a quiet outdoor table by a farm fireplace.
The hotel location was easy to find and quiet. Our rooms were immaculately clean and spacious with a couch, desk and pleasant decor.
This lovely hotel did not cost more than what we paid for a motel off the I-5 freeway.
My only caution is that although the dog was welcome, the fee for a pet was very high.

Needed a midway point stop for our trip to Oregon and chose Roseville for the extensive shopping. The Hyatt Place was walking distance to the mall so was a logistcal choice. The room was large with a living room and wet bar. The beds were incredibley comfy with nice linens and duver covered comforters. The staff was friendly, welcoming and very responsive. Add in a great breakfast that is included in the cost and this was a great value. Based on this overnight stay, I will be sure to search for a Hyatt Place whereever my travels take me.

We stay here with our soccer team every year. This hotel is very clean, has wonderful amenities, and the staff is always quick to respond to any request. Breakfast is a great value, although you need to get there early on the weekends to get the best selection! The suites are large, clean, and nicely decorated.

Decided to try another Hyatt Place, this time in Roseville, CA. While this Hyatt Place is Northeast of Sacremento it is a stones throw form several colleges and Universities in the Sacramento/Bay Areas. The staff was exceptional and friendly. The hotel is located very close to the Mall, shops and restaurants, but in a quiet location. While the hotel is northeast of Davis, the drive to the campus from Roseville is pretty straightforward on the 80 and even by the 113. Due to demand, sometimes the Hyatt Place at UC Davis can be a bit pricey, the Hyatt Place at Roseville offers the same excellent level of service with more traditional eateries, such as The Yardhouse, Mimi's Cafe, BJ Breweries, Panera's, Ruth Chris, etc.

Room Tip: As with a Hyatt Place in general, corner rooms are smaller.

The place where we usually stay in Auburn while golfing was booked up so we scrambled for another hotel for our 2-night stay. I had very low expectations because Hyatt Place was only $100 a night. It is absolutely fantastic for the price. We have a very large "junior suite" with a sectional sofa, a desk and refrigerator, and large flat screen tv, and the king bed is very comfy. Clean, modern, new. It even comes with a breakfast that is actually cooked in a kitchen. They were very amenable to our pet (cost was a little high, $75 for our stay), but I am thrilled. We're watching the Saturday afternoon football game in comfort. I will definitely look for these hotels in other cities. Did not know about Hyatt Place before now.

My family of four stayed here for two nights. We didn't have time to use the pool or gym. The hotel was quiet and clean (including our room). Before you book through a third party, call the actual hotel directly to check prices. As it turned out, we could've saved money by booking directly with the hotel. Good location. Would stay here again.

Received no customer service and no willingness to help with contacted management to follow up on forgotten item. So disappointing and unpleasant to deal with the hotel where customer service manager doesn't even apologize for the missing item. Unacceptable by any means considering that I stay at this place at least 10 nights every year. For sure I am not coming back to stay in place where honesty is absent.
