“Friendly staff, good value, comfortable hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2012

My boyfriend and I stayed here, along with other family members. The rooms were quiet, comfortable and spacious, staff are friendly, breakfast is very good with lots of choices, wifi is free and works well. This hotel is a good value.

I am writing because it is really a shame that this hotel can not receive a better rating. They have a great staff and nice facility. Unfortunately after staying there 4 time in four different rooms for group events my family has given up and decided to find other accommodations. All the rooms have mildew smell that gets worse when the room warms up. The front desk people have told us that it is carpet that absorb water from cleaning and the pad must have mildewed. So rather than having carpets properly cleaned they have ruined them in all their rooms. They gave us a floor spray to use our entire stay which did not mask the smell. We have even brought air freshers with us but always leave with complaining of the smell.
Great lay out of rooms, comfortable beds and nice breakfast. But I would have to have a mask to continue to stay there.

I love this hotel. The rooms are amazing and clean.; The staff is super helpful. The breakfast choices are nice and healthy too. I had fresh grapefruit and oranges with cottage cheese. Fresh juice. There is a nice bar with 24 food availability. The location is right in the heart of shopping for after work.

I will be back in two weeks, and will definitely stay here.

Huge suites, unbelievable free breakfast, and a decent rate. Wish they'd build one of these in downtown Sac so I'd have some alternative from the overpriced competition.

Luxurious? No. New, clean, friendly service, comfortable beds? Definitely! This is not a full fledged Hyatt hotel, which is the only reason I did not give it 5 stars, but the rooms are spacious (designed to feel like a suite) with a lounger sofa, beds are extremely comfortable, and the service from the staff was exceptional. It is only 30-40 minutes away from the Sacramento airport and is surrounded by a host of restaurants and retail shopping opportunities. Because I was going to be away from the hotel all day with no access to a computer, the desk clerk was nice enough to go to the Southwest Airlines check-in site at the scheduled time and obtain my Early Bird boarding pass. It was waiting for me when I returned to my room that evening. Also, as mentioned in another review, I obtained a great deal through Priceline.com by "Naming My Own Price". I will definitely go back.

Room Tip: I stayed in room 323. Very quiet and only a short distance from the elevator.

Would def. stay again! Great Priceline property (hint, hint)
Room 512
Quiet spacious rooms
Very comfortable beds
Awesome couch and ottoman
Awesome LG flatscreen TV
Killer breakfast and very good food to purchase
Good wireless (free)
Excellent staff
Super gym (2 treadmills)

Room could've been cleaner: bathroom door was sticky. bathroom floor wasn't as clean as it could be. closet door was a bit dirty. No room in safe as stated on website. I wish the hotel had a coin laundry for longer stays.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the 6th floor if you don't want a guest above you. Hotel is not near a freewa...
