“Quick Easter get away”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 11, 2012

Stayed here for one night for a quick get away with my honey while visiting the kids and grand kiddos. Very nice large clean room, comfy king bed and staff was very helpful quick check-in and check-out. Free breakfast was nice touch too. This will definitely be our place to stay while visiting the family.

Very helpful and friendly hotel staff. The rooms were well equipped and clean. We could hear road noise but it wasn't too bad. The location is a good jumping off point for day trips.

Very NICE room, large & clean. Had a couch, microwave, fridge, iron & board. Only complaint I have was it was a little noisy because hotel is close to freeway. But the bed was Awesome, so they kinda canceled each other...Front counter was great & very friendly.. Would stay here again... Only Best Western that told me I had points & my stay was FREE!!!

Comfortable, roomy (could almost live in it .... Almost), clean, and friendly staff. Very accommodating and kitchen staff even made our waffles for us. Only complaint is that although it is advertised as wine country, if u want to spend your time in Napa & even in Sonoma, it's about 45-1 hour drive back in always busy constant traffic via freeways for the most part unless u have a GPS and want to be challenged by the back roads which r fun & scenic in the daylight.
We would definitely go back & recommend this place. We booked it online, got there a day earlier & honored the same online pricing... Good value!

Room Tip: We got a king bed with fridge/ micro which also came with a couch & coffee table, plus another t...

I gave this property average because of the loud morning workers not to mention the highway. However, the room was clean and welcoming. If you make reservations here make sure your room is close to the office because my room was on the back end right across from the main area where the workers conglomerate. The noise awakened me in the early morning with the Vending guy walking past as well as the hotel workers. Carts, talking and the noisy freeway is all I heard.

I imagine the rooms are more quiet next to the office. This place was not worth the cost for the simple reason of the overbearing Highway 101. Unfortunately, there is really not much they can do with that problem except hand out ear plugs or noise cancellation ear phones.

Room Tip: $8.00 pet fee...odd number

The Best Western in Rohnert Park is a very nice place to stay for a weekend or longer. It has nice rooms but the beds are what makes the room. They are very nice pillow top mattress that are not too soft nor too hard but make sleeping really nice. Unlike many BW's the heater/air conditioner is not controlled at the unit but have a wall thermostat that makes setting the right temp for the room easy. The rooms were good sized and had nice overstuffed chairs to sit at. The tub/toilet room as a bit small but it had a separate area outside with the sink. there was a microwave, refrigerator and the most surprising thing was there was real glass and glass coffee cups in the unit, not he paper/plastic ones. The front desk people are very friendly help full and the maids are also friendly. The pool was open and heated even though it was early January and there is a hot tub inside a small room just off the pool. The hotel was very quite and nice. The free breakfast was not too exciting but there is an IHOP within 50 feet of the entrance to the hotel. All in all a very nice place for a getaway.

Room Tip: Ask for a room not facing the highway to get the quietest room.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 29, 2011

We stayed in late October 2011. Check-in was handled quickly and effortlessly by Adan. He even recommended that, if we waited for a few minutes, he could move us from our room facing the freeway to a quieter room. This was no problem as we needed to go and refuel the car and pick up a few groceries for the next day's trip and we appreciated the thought. The room was clean and comfortable; TV reception was not great but the wifi signal was strong. The king bed was comfortable but we both found the pillows to be quite 'large and firm' resulting in an uncomfortable sleeping position and neither of us had a good sleep.

Breakfast was quite barebones-no eggs, sausage, bacon etc but it did the job.

There are restaurants nearby within easy walking distance.

Room Tip: stay away from rooms on the freeway
