We just got our order to go at the Cheesecake Factory in Riverside. While the food was great, the service at this location and the serving sizes when you get it "to go" are much different that other Cheesecake Factory restaurants I have been.
First, they forgot to give us our slice of cheesecake we had ordered and paid for. Then we had to go back in again to get the jar of caesar dressing we had purchased but they forgot to give us. If we didn't check everything before we left, we would have been too far away to go back. We shouldn't have had to check this. The staff at the restaurant should be doing this.
We got an order of orange chicken and there were just ten pieces of chicken. The salad size was also much smaller that if you ordered in the restaurant.
Normally, when we go to the restaurant and sit-down to eat the portions are greater, so my husband and I will share a salad, main course & dessert rather than order two main courses, one main course for each of us is way too much food.
So while the food is good, make sure you eat in the restaurant and do not order to go. With everyone on a budget these days, we need to make sure we get what exactly what we pay for.
