Based on many excellent reviews and the crowds, we gave this restaurant a look for lunch. The menu descriptions of the small plates and the fresh juice-based cocktails enticed us to order a number of different items, but we were disappointed that both the actual food and libations fell flat in favor. The chipotle chicken and pulled pork tacos were bland. The trio of salsas was not spicy. The chicken wings were too sweet. The best items we tried were the jicama beet salad with mint and the chili-spiced corn. Great concept overall and nice location, but the restaurant currently misses the mark on implementation. Service also was average. Until the chefs kick it up a notch, we will not be back.
