I use to love this hotel, and I still do love the location for work on the peninsula, the lobby, the staff, and the food can be quite good. I love the lobster salad for a light dinner. But the rooms are just plane old. Time for new furniture and tile in the bathroom! But--the bed is still cozy and the views over lagoon pleasant. So, a mixed bag, but I would still stay here again.

Very nice hotel. I was out for a wedding in Belmont, CA. I got a very good deal on hotels.com (about $90/night) but once you're in the hotel, everything gets kind of pricey. It may be the norm for the area. It was my first time to the San Fran area and some of my friends said it is one of the most expensive areas in the country. To give you an idea, I had a cheeseburger and fries at the hotel bar and it cost $18 and change before tax. It was delicous but could have been a little cheaper. Cheapest domestic beer is $6.50 (Coors Light, Bud, MGD, etc).

Very nice property over looking a nice lake.

Room Tip: go to hotels.com for better pricing. I think when I checked their company website, the rooms were o...

Great hotel. Stayed here several times over several years and cannot complain. The hotel has been refurbed a few times since starting my visits. Food is great. Rooms and beds are fabulous. Location convenient for visiting with Oracle. Good location for other restaurants and exercising. Would definitely stay again and again.

This is a lovely hotel, just a shame it isnt closer to the airport ($60.00) taxi fare. There is a free shuttle however. Nothing is too much trouble, every staff member is willing and able to assist. The rooms are well appointed have comfy beds, nice linens/towels L'Occitane toilettries ,coffee maker and are of a reasonable size. Great breakfast in a lovely atmosphere overlooking the lagoon. This is a typically business hotel but its quiet and personal.
