Stayed here one night, very comfortable, clean and quiet. Would stay here again

I use to love this hotel, and I still do love the location for work on the peninsula, the lobby, the staff, and the food can be quite good. I love the lobster salad for a light dinner. But the rooms are just plane old. Time for new furniture and tile in the bathroom! But--the bed is still cozy and the views over lagoon pleasant. So, a mixed bag, but I would still stay here again.

Very nice hotel. I was out for a wedding in Belmont, CA. I got a very good deal on hotels.com (about $90/night) but once you're in the hotel, everything gets kind of pricey. It may be the norm for the area. It was my first time to the San Fran area and some of my friends said it is one of the most expensive areas in the country. To give you an idea, I had a cheeseburger and fries at the hotel bar and it cost $18 and change before tax. It was delicous but could have been a little cheaper. Cheapest domestic beer is $6.50 (Coors Light, Bud, MGD, etc).

Very nice property over looking a nice lake.
