Breakfast room tidy and pleasant staff there, waffles and eggs but otherwise a cargo-feast. Fresh fruit = cut up orange quarters.

BIG MINUS: poor internet connection. I could not load this review page on iPad, had to work on the laptop. Such low speed that I had to go out to Starbucks and McDonalds to work. Called "help" number but hours later nothing had changed.

DRIVING IN: difficult if you don't know the area. PCH permits few left turns, traffic dense and fast. Easy way in thru building at 1800, but you have to learn this from experience, not signage.
It wouldn't be hard to put detail on the website.

booked this hotel for last night of an exhausting vacation because they toughted that it was way better than a usual best western 'now a plus'. what a let down. Couldnt use bathroom faucet because it had a huge mirror mounted probably after plumbing put in, and sink was plugged up (I guess to upgrade) Paid almost 3x what I paid @ a fleabag by the airport lst night and got similar amenities. I must have paid for the neighborhood? Actually the room was nicer at the fleabag and they gave a complimentary glass of champaigne there. I guess that means that they built a new fancy lobby and give an upgraded breakfast. The room was a standard double, nothing fancy except that they had a new cabinet with the mini frig hidden in it. Parking was overcrowded, although they did have underground for overflow (under the fancy lobby). Could buy beer or wine @ desk, otherwise sent down the road to get a real drink. No indoor pool. Children in the exercise room(which was dinky). But I was pleasantly surprised there was a dry heat sauna, but had to wait twentty minutes for it to heat up since I had to turn it on. Tiny jacuzzi and outdoor heated pool. Only one entrance to facility and very difficult to maneuver in parking lot.

I was here for one night to visit with friends who were also there on a long term stay. It is a motel (outside doors). Although I am NOT a fan of these types of motels, the room was actually very nice. The furnishings were up-to-date and the carpet seemed fairly new. The bathroom fixtures were very dated, however. The staff was very friendly and they had cleaning staff what seemed to be around the clock. It is on par with a nice Holiday Inn Express or Hampton Inn. I can't give it more than 3 stars as it is a motel doesn't have that luxury feeling. For those wondering, it is qutie far from the Pier (not really walking distance). Although Breakfast was included, it was pretty minimalistic. Holiday Inn Express level or a little lower.

very nice hotel. everything right there. stay there alot. nice to have breakfast right there on site and it's included in the price of the room. service and rooms are very clean and grounds are kept clean.
