Be prepared for a stay here- no shampoo, no hair dryer, and no coffee. What you do get is a small clean room, TV attached to the wall, small bathroom with a nice shower, small refrigerator, and a below the window air-conditioner. Try to stay in the back to avoid the noise on PCH. I was asked if I wanted clean towels, said "no" and I guess that meant that we didn't get the bed made or the trash taken. The rate was low and you get what you pay for.

Small clean room with a firm mattress! Four easy blocks from the beautiful Pacific! One mile to the south a small shopping village or a mile to the north the famous pier! We enjoyed our four nights here!

Small but nice. 25mins driving from LAX airport. Perfect if you have the flight early in the morning. Rooms are not so big but comfortable. You have TV and private bathroom. No minibar and safety box. The thing we didn't like was the fact it has few parking lots and if you return late you are forced to park outside. The staff was nice and helpful but they didn't change towels the two nights we spent there

ok, i'll start off by saying i never actually stayed here. that's the point of this whole review. after searching all over the net for a cheap place to stay in this area- this seemed to be the only hotel within the price range i was looking for and the location as well. i compared some travel sites for rates with booking.com saying "$70/night" and another site stating "$85"...i've never used booking so i wasn't comfortable reserving the room off of it. i went to pacific coasts website to try and reserve but the link was broken. sigh. not a surprise...
which brings me to the phone call....a very uninterested man with a heavy accent answered and i asked about rates- he stated "$95 a night".....i let him know i could get it online cheaper and he came back with "yeah..i guess...but we're very busy, booking fast" i asked if a deposit was taken for the room and he let me know that the WHOLE total would be billed to my card right away and NO CANCELLATIONS.....once again, i let him know that all over the net it didn't mention that the whole amount would be billed right away and there was several mentions of cancellations allowed up until 24 hrs before the reservation date. he replied with "oh we're very busy, no cancellations in july or august"......this phone call was turning into a mess. this guy was rude. bad first impression. i let him know we would not be bothering with this place and the conversation was ended. horrible customer service right off the bat. reserve at your own risk! better get major details from them before booking ANYTHING.
