Lobby/check-in area exactly the opposite of what your room will look like. The room I booked was described as "rack standard room with 1 queen bed, decorated in western style with wet bar, refrigerator, coffee."
Was first given a room that had furniture piled on top of bed, plastic bags all over the bathroom. Apparently they had just cleaned the carpet (should have REPLACED it) and management was unaware.
Second room: Old, faded, worn out, stained, dingy carpeting. Afraid to walk on it in bare feet. No "wet bar", no "western style," in fact, no decoration of any kind in room. No pictures, etc. Refrigerator was an 18-inch cube sitting on the floor. The iron and ironing board advertised as being in each room? There was a sign in the room indicating they were held at the office if you wanted one. I slept in my clothes. After looking at the carpeting, I was afraid of what I was going to catch.
Meth addict apparently living down the hall in one of the rooms, up and down the hall all night, heard her yelling that she "was fighting god" and that "god is a [--]."
Hallway outside rooms has BADLY stained, worn out, and just plain gross carpeting. It is obvious that no improvements have been made to this wing of the hotel in at least 50 years, if not longer.
I know - I should have checked out/demanded my money back. It had been a very long day, an even longer drive, and I checked in late and was exhausted. WILL NEVER STAY AT THIS PLACE AGAIN OR RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE.
I stayed at this hotel as it was only a few minutes away from a business appointment I had the next morning. What a mistake! For $20 more I could have been at the Oxford Suites, not worrying about the drug addict down the hall, the fact that I had no security chain on my door, and wondering what I was going to catch from the nasty carpeting.
Could not check out of this place fast enough. STAY AWAY!
